3.学习新单词:tall short small thin big man
二、教学难点:
1. 新单词 tall short small thin big man的用法。 2. 会用this 和that 描述两个人或两个物。
三、教学准备
PPT, books and bags.
四、教学过程
1. 热身复习
a. 问候:和同学们问好,将全班同学分为四组,回答正确加一分,优胜者有小礼物。
T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ps: Good morning, Ms Xiang.
T: It’s very nice to meet you here. First of all, I ‘d like to divide you into four groups and the winner will get these cookies, OK?
Ps: OK.
b. 以一首韵律诗活跃课堂气氛 Here is a monkey.
T: OK, boys and girls, look at the screen, let’s chant and clap your hands.

Ps clap their hands and chant together.
c.带领学生复习上个单元的句型,请同学看图回答问题,回答正确加一分。 -What’s this? -It’s a tiger. It’s an elephant. -What are they? –They’re lions. They’re monkeys. -Look!It’s a panda. –It’s fat. 2. 课文教学
1) 单词tall 和 short 教学
a. 全班同学看活动一动画,然后在屏幕上给出两个男生图片,引导学生理解 He’s tall. 或 He’s short. 听新单词tall读音,学生跟读,
T:Boys and girls, there are two boys in the picture. Look at this one, he’s … Listen,
who can read it? Please hands up. P1: tall.
T: Well done. You have got one. (给回答问题的学生加一分)
b.老师将新单词tall写在黑板上,再让学生跟读两遍,升调和降调。tall ↗, tall↘. c. 以同样的方式学习单词short.
d, 请两个男生,两个女生分别进行身高比较,再次让学生理解tall和short的含义和用法。
T: Next, I’d like to invite two boys to come here. Any volunteers ? OK,you, please.
So, look at these two boys, so we can say he’s… Ps: He’s tall.
T: And we can say that he’s… Ps: short.
T: Thank you. Go back to your seat. Any volunteers? She’s… and she’s… Ps: Short. Tall.
e. 学生听tall and short的韵律诗,跟读,再到全班朗读,最后边做动作边朗读。
T : Next, please look at the screen and listen to it. Ps listen to it carefully. (第一遍让学生们安静的听)
T: One more time, read after it.(第二遍学生小声跟读) You guys did very good
job.
Ps read the rhyme poem together.(第三遍全班学生大声朗读)
T: OK, you are good chanters. This time please stand up. Let’s chant together.
(第四遍学生边做动作,边读)Who can read it? (邀请两位同学单独朗读,并加各加一分) 2)新单词big和small教学
a. 大屏幕给出两幅蛋糕图片,让学生先感知大与小的概念,再引导学生学习新单词。
b. 指出较大的蛋糕图,引导学生听完单词能完整表达It’s big.
T:Boys and girls, there are two cakes here. Look at this one. It’s … Now, listen. And who can read this word (big)? Ps: Big.
T: You’re right. Clap your hands.
c. 教师将两块蛋糕进行远近,大小的比较。引导学生们讲出这两个句子。
T:OK, boys and girls. So we can say “This … That …” .
先请两位同学看图说句子:This cake is big. That cake is small. 全班学生复述
句子。
d. 由两顶帽子比较,进行拓展。
Ps: This cap is big. That cap is small. (两位学生回答,全班复述。) 3)新单词thin教学。
a. 由旧知迁移到新知。给出胖猴子的图片并运用肢体语言引导学生回答This monkey is fat.
b. 通过对胖猴子的对比,学习新单词thin.
T: And we can say that monkey is… Now listen to the pronunciation of the word.
Ps: thin
c. 学生跟读,教师教读,全班朗读新单词thin。 d.通过与单词fat的对比,得出thin的意思和用法。 e. 对于新单词thin的自然拼读chant学习。
T:Well, boys and girls. Look at my mouth and listen to me.(第一遍看老师口型发音)

a. 看活动二动画。
b. 通过动画二中的人物和动物,学会比较。 T: Now boys and girls, This … That…

后,全班复述句子,加深印象)
This monkey is small and thin. That monkey is big and fat. c. 通过三组图片中的人物和动物,巩固练习。
T: Look at the screen and compare these two men. Please talk with your
partners. (学生讨论时,教师进行个别的聆听和指导)
Ps: This man is tall and thin. That man is short and fat.
T: Is he right? Clap your hands. Well done. (回答正确的学生加一分) 7)拓展练习。
a.从身边的人或事开始讨论和比较。

六. 教学反思
1. 个别学生对于tall [tɔ:l] 的发音不准确,误读为 [tɔɪ]
2. 部分同学对于this,that 的用法掌握还不够,要加强对比练习。
3. 部分同学对于可修饰人的形容词没有掌握,部分学生会用big和small。
4. 缺乏英语的语言环境,口语表达还不够流畅,应多鼓励学生课后用学过的单词和句子表达和练习。
