Teaching Aims
1. Knowledge: a. to enable students to review the new words in the unit4,such as potatoes, carrots, green beans, horses, cows, hens, sheep
b. to enable students to review the new useful expressions “What are these/those?” “Are
these/those···?and know how to answer them with “They are···’’ “Yes, they are.” “No, they aren’t.”
c. to enable to use the singular number and complex number correctly.
2.Ability: a. to enable the students can use the new words and useful expressions in their daily life. b. to enable the students to make their own dialogue in the real situation and act it out. 3.Emotion: a. to form the students’ sense of saving the food. b. encourage the ss to get more close to the nature.
The Structure analysis of
teaching material
This class is a review class. The ss have learn the new words and new sentences before, but they are easily
confused singular number with the complex numbers. So I designed this class to review to what we learn in this
unit.

1. Ask the ss to choose one kind of vegetables or animals and then ask and answer in pairs.
One plays the role of the famer.
The other plays the role of the visitor.
2.Show ss some pictures of the vegetables and ask the ss to guess what are these/those? And guess by “Are these/those```?”
3.Guide the ss to be aware of the importance of getting close to the nature.
