Teaching reflection | |||
Advantages a. Pre-writing homework provides Ss with language materials and help them express their meaning more accurately and fluently during their writing. b. The Tablet enables T to show Ss’ sentences and correct them on the screen conveniently, making it explicit for Ss to know how to improve their writing. c. While properly finishing a writing task is not easy for most of the Ss in the class, breaking the writing task into translating sentences first and then connecting them greatly helps Ss focus on writing good sentences. Diadvantages a. Due to limited class time, each group only gets the chance to write one sentence, which is not providing Ss enough practice in sentence writing. b. More work should be done to help Ss organize the contents of the writing instead of directly giving them Chinese sentences to translate. c. At the end of the class, T should help Ss review what has been learned in this class. |
