教学目标
1. Knowledge goals:
1) Key vocabulary: result, percent, online, television, although, through, mind, body such, together, die, writer
Target languages:
And twenty percent do not exercise at all.
Most students use it for fun and not for homework.
The answers to our questions about watching television were also interesting.
Although many students like to watch sports, game shows are the most popular.
It’s healthy for the body and the mind.
Old habits die hard.
It’s good to relax by using the Internet or watching game shows, but we think the best way to relax is through exercise.
2. Ability goals:
1) To train students’ fast reading and intensive reading skills.
2) To train students’ communicative competence.
3. Moral goals:
Learn to form good daily habits. (2c 4,5)
Help students know more about each other and promote friendship.
2学情分析
本班级共有学生45人,多数学生升入初中前几乎没有英语基础。经过一年的学习,多数学生能听懂有关熟悉话题的对话和简短文章;能跟老师和同学就熟悉话题交换信息;能读懂简短文章,能就一定的话题作文。但是由于多种因素,少数学生基础太差,对英语学习失去主动性。不过即便如此,这些学生也能在课堂跟住老师,并保证课堂纪律。整体上说,全班的英语学习积极性很高。

4.Ask three of them to share their information about the pie charts.

the answer to the question 意为“问题的答案”,固定搭配
2. Although many students like to watch sports,
although, 连词,意为“虽然,尽管”,相当于though, 引导让步状语从句。在英语中although 或though不与but同时使用,但可以用yet或still连用。
e.g. 虽然他很累,但仍然继续工作。
1) Although he was tired, he went on working.
2) He was tired, but he went on working.
3. It is good to relax by using the Internet
1) It is +adj. (for sb.) + to do …
“对于某人来说做某事是...的”,动词不定式为句子真正主语。
E.g. 对我来说学好英语不难。
It’s not difficult for me to learn English well .
2) by doing sth. 意为“通过做某事”。by 介词,意为“通过,靠”,表示方法、手段。其后可接名词、代词或动名词。
a 他通过听CD学英语
He learns English by listening to CDs.
b 她靠教书为生。
She makes a living by teaching.
