教学目标
By the end of the session, most students will be better able to understand the target listening material, come up with more ideas about our future school and talk about it with simple future tense better.
2学情分析
Year Seven students are interested in everything unknown. They are willing to talk about the future using their imaginations. They are open-minded. But they are lack of supporting vocabulary and useful sentence pattern. We teachers need to provide them with plenty of vocabulary, and let them be inspired by their friends and classmates.
3重点难点
Focus:
1.Looking at the pictures and reading the questions carefully before listening to predict related information 2. Focusing on the key facts like places, teachers, students and etc. while listening.
Difficulties:
1. Some students can not use the right tense to talk about their predictions about things. 2. Some students can not write down some key notes.

4.1.1教学活动
活动1【导入】A conversation with Hera
1. Lead in with a question:
How will we go to school in the future?
2. Play a video---a friend named Hera from the future(have a conversation with Hera)
活动2【活动】Prediction about future teaching
1. Ask the students how the teachers teach now. (show some pictures)
2. Ask the students to predict how the teachers will teach in the future . (give a sentence structure)
活动3【活动】Prediction about future learning
1.Ask the students how they learn now. (Show some pictures as they come up with ideas)
2. Ask the students how they will learn in the future. (Ask a student a question as a model and let him/her ask the student behind one by one.)
活动4【活动】Prediction about our future school
Ask students to predict the places of our school in the future with the help of the sentence structures:
(…will be…; There will/won’t be…; So…)
活动5【活动】pairwork on prediction about our future school
1. Ask students to list some things we can talk about in our school. (the library; the classrooms; the dining hall; the dormitory; the playground; the teachers; the students etc. )
2. Ask students to work with partners and talk about our school in the future with the help of some useful sentences:
(What will…be like in the future?
How will the teachers / students…?
Will the…in the future?)
活动6【活动】Listening to a student`s prediction
1. Show a picture of a student and ask the students to predict what he will talk about in our school and predict his ideas.
2. Show 3 questions and ask the students to find out the key words in these questions. (Write down the key words on the blackboard to form a frame of the following report)
3.Play the tape twice and move around the class observing students.
4. Ask students to answer the questions after listening
活动7【活动】Report about future school prediction
1. Ask students to share ideas about our future school in groups and write down great ideas on the paper.
2. Invite 3 or 4 students to give reports with the help of the frame. (The other students listen and take short notes)
活动8【作业】Know more prediction
Homework is designed for students of different levels:
Lower level:
1. Talk about our school in the future(more ideas).
Higher level:
2. Watch a video about the future school with robots and tell us the ideas.
