教 材 分 析
Teaching Content of this class includes two parts: Welcome to the unit & Comic strip.
Welcome to the unit part is divided into two parts: Part A and Part B.
Part A is about the transport at different times, it not only requires students to be able to know the transport at different times in Beijing/China , but also requires them to be able to match the pictures with the words and know more transport people use nowadays.
Part B presents the conversation about the transport Millie’s dad took in the past and Millie takes at present, it requires students to be able to use the sentence patterns presented in the conversation to talk about the transport they use in different situations .
Comic strip part presents the vivid picture and pure English language between Eddie and Hobo, which can stimulate students’ enthusiasm and interest in learning. The conversation presents the sentences of present perfect tense, it requires students to learn the simple use of the present perfect tense by observing、summarizing and practicing .
学 情 分 析
Existing basis: Students are familiar with the transport learned before , it is closely connected with students’ daily life, so they have words to say Most students have the ability to express their ideas and have enthusiasm to actively take part in class activities
Existing difficulties: Some students have the desire to express opinions, but their knowledge level and pronunciation restrict their output level, so it’s a slow process to make students make great progress, especially in such short class teaching time .
Breakthrough measures: Through teacher’s explanation and different forms and levels of drills and practice to make a good atmosphere and make students actively take part in them and gain a lot in listening 、 speaking 、reading、writing and grammar during the class . 教 学 目 标

In this class , students are divided into 6 groups and they have a PK during the whole class , each time one group member answers one question, the group will get a star , the group which gets the most stars will get a present .There is a scorekeeper during the class to give stars.
Step1 Greetings & Lead-in. (Individual work、Group work)
1. New year’s greetings . 2. Know about students’ winter vacation especially about traveling . 3. Students make a survey about what transport they used during the winter vacation in groups ,then each group leader reports like this : In our group , they went out by ... ... .

1.Teacher leads students from the transport changes to the changes between Eddie and Hobo .
