一.指导思想与理论依据
《初中英语课程标准》对四级听力层级要求学生能够听懂简单故事的情节发展,理解其中主要人物和事件,而本课要求学生能够使用一般过去时讲述故事。《课标》要求英语教学英语有工具性和人文性。而本课的载体《皇帝的新装》,在讲故事的同时,学生对西方童话故事的文化内容有所了解,体现了英语学习的人文性。 二.教材内容分析
《皇帝的新装》对于学生来说,故事情节较为熟悉,而通过图片及关键词的提示引导学生复述故事,目的在于培养学生的思维和语言的重组能力,鼓励学生用所学的语言结构进行表达。
三.教学设计 (一) 教学目标
1. 学生能够用 once up on time, kept, stupid, cheats复述《皇帝的新装》的故事。
2. 通过举例人物语言或行为,如 kept everything for themselves, didn’t want to sound stupid等,分析故事的人物性格。 3. 为故事续写结尾
(二) 教学重、难点及突破措施
本节课《皇帝的新装》教学重点是了解西方童话故事的表现形式,尝试用概括的形式进行语言输出。教学难点是词汇的恰当使用,和故事逻辑的表达,以及最后引发学生用英语进行表达的故事结尾的续写。通过学生小组活动,填空并把片段组成整个故事的活动,使学生更加了解故事细节,并对故事的起承转合有一定认识。再通过人物分析这一活动,使用之前故事中的语句,突破学生语言表达的难题,为最后的复述故事扫清语言障碍。教学过程
