一、学情分析：
六年级的学生已有一定的英语知识储备，在5Bunit7 Chinese festivals中对中国部分传统节日的风俗有了初步的了解。本课时讲述的是中国传统重要节日：春节，贴近学生的实际，对于文本的理解并没有太大的难度，教学重点主要放在学生语言能力的培养和文化意识的渗透上。） 二、教学目标：
1.学生能在情境中掌握单词和词组： fireworks, a lion dance, red packets, get, Hong Kong, next week, food, tangyuan, Chinese New Year’s Eve, Chinese New Year’s Day 2.学生能在情境中理解be going to的用法，并能尝试运用be going to表达“计划”和“准备”。
3. 通过本节课的学习，学生能够有步骤地阅读和理解正确理解story time内容，并用正确的语音语调朗读。
4.学生能够了解更多的春节文化，以及扬中与香港春节文化的异同，并尝试着用英文表达。
5.学生能够感知了解英文电子邮件的格式。 三、教学重点：

和准备。
3. 学生能够正确理解语篇内容，并用正确的语音语调朗读。 五、教学准备：
周期学习单，PPT, 红包等 六、教学过程： Step 1:Warming up 1.Watch a video
T:Let’s enjoy a video first.
T:Do you like it?What is the video about? 揭题：Chinese New Year
2. Talk about “Chinese New Year” what the Ss know. 3.Guessing game
T：Today I take a present for you. Look！（PPT出示谜面） 引出：red packet
T:Good! Look, I have a big red packet.What’s in it?Guess！ Ss: There is/are...
3. T: In the red packet, there are some pieces of paper. You can pick one. Maybe you can get some “sweets”, or “some questions”, or a “lucky coin”. Who wants to try? 学生抽摸字条，获得相应礼物或者回答相应问题。 Step 2:Learn the story 1. The feedback of the preview. 1)Ss say sth about Anna’s information. 2)Konw sth about email. 2.Prediction：
T:What is Anna going to do at Chinese New Year? Ss:Anna is going to...
3.Watch and answer:What is Anna going to do at Chinese New Year? 4.Read and order.
T:OK. She is going to do many things. Can you put them in the right order? Open your books, turn to page 80. Read the text loudly and write down the numbers.
Check the answer.
T:How can you put them in the right order? What is it according to ? 按时间先后顺序排列。 5.Scan and stick:(time)
T:When is Anna going to do these things?Please Scan the story, underline the time ,please don’t read word by word . You only have 10seconds to finish it. 6.Complete the mind map on the blackboard。 7.Read the story Step8:After reading 1.Share your plan.
2.T:Good job!What are the differences of New Year customs between Hong Kong and Yang Zhong?Please discuss in groups. You can say like this: On Chinese New Year’s Eve, Anna is going to make cakes, but I’m going to make dumplings. Check the answer. Share.
3.Homework（选择性星级作业）
a. Read Anna’s email and tell your family about Chinese New Year in Hong Kong. b. Make your plan for Chinese New Year with your family.
c. Surf the Internet, try to know some New Year customs(风俗) of different places in China
