3.学会用形容词描述人或动物 His / Her… is …, His / Her … are ….
2学情分析
四年级的学生大概处在十岁左右,这个阶段的儿童注意不稳定、不持久,难于长时间地注意同一件事物,容易为一些新奇刺激的事物所吸引。所以他们对课件里的动画和能动发声的教具感兴趣。在记忆方面,这个年龄段的孩子的有意识记逐渐占据主导地位,即使是抽象材料也能花功夫努力记住,并能自觉检查记忆的效果。
在一年级的学习中,学生已经掌握了人体脸部器官eye, ear, nose, mouth的单词,在二三年级的学习中又掌握了形容词big/small, long, fat等,而在三年级上学期,又学习了he’s/she’s句型,明白了他们的区别和用法,在课上可以设计说一说的活动来复现句型,引出his/her的教学。

 1.能正确理解和运用 his 和 her
 2.能正确运用is 和are
 3.能准确运用形容词描述人物 / 动物特征

 Step 1. Warming up
1 Warm up:  sing a song
2 Greetings
3 Show the teaching plans.
Step 2. Revision
1.Say as quickly as you can :复习五官类单词和形容词
2.What’s this?( It’s a doll.) Do you like dolls?  I’ve got two dolls.(出示图片)

Step3. Presentation& Practice
1.ppt出示以上描述句子,讲解her 和his
                       讲解is 和are
2.drill:fill in the blanks(用his, her, is are 填空)
结合填空复习thin , fat, tall, short
3.Smurfette and Pinocchio can change.
PPT展示,describe  the  Smurfette
describe  and guess who he is.
Check time
Xiao Mei likes animals.What animals dos she like? She likes dogs. She has a pet dog.Which is her dog? Listen read and choose.
Tutu likes cats. He has a pet cat. Which is his cat? Listen and choose.
Fun time
Xiao Mei and Tutu often play together with their pets. What are they doing now? Look, they’re making a snowman. Is the snowman nice?...He is tall and fat, but he has no eyes ,no mouth,….Let’s help them finish the snowman. You say I draw.
 Is it nice? Let’s show our snowman.
