3、能尝试运用He’s/She’s …. ; His/ Her……is/are…等句型介绍别人或自己;
4、能把握Z的发音规律;
5、能理解诵读歌谣。
2学情分析
四年级学生有了一定的基础,能听懂老师的简单课堂用语,能用简单的英语表达图片的意思,能用简单的英语进行交际。
3重点难点
1、学生能够准确运用句型His/Her……is/are……
2、学生能表演课文内容。

活动1【导入】呈现目标 游戏铺垫
Step 1 Learning objective
T: Boys and girls, today, our learning objective is to learn how to describe people’s appearance in English. Have you got it?
Step 2 Play a game------Test your powers of observation
1. T: First, let’s play a game. OK? I will test your powers of observation. Look, the first level, Please watch the pictures carefully, and try to compare whose eyes are big.
(1)呈现问句:Whose eyes are big?
(2)教学:eyes, big
(3)师逐一呈现图片,引出Her eyes are big. 教读,引导学生指着读
2. 同法教学Whose ears are big? Whose mouth is small?
教学ears,small, mouth
3. T: Is the girl doll with a small mouth beautiful? Do you like her?
Ss : Yes./No.
4. T: That’s Ok. / Great. We will meet other more dolls in the story. So today we’ll go to this unit, unit 8 Dolls.

Step 3 Story time
1. Look and answer
T:Look, there are some other dolls in the story.点击呈现课文图片 Please watch the pictures in 5 seconds, and then answer the question. How many dolls are there in the story?
Ss answer.
T: This is the girl doll. This is the boy doll.
2. Listen and point
T: The children are talking about the two dolls. Please open your books and listen! Which parts of the two dolls are they talking about?
(1)师播放女娃录音。
(2)Ss回答,T: Can you come to the front, and point to the parts you have said?
学生到黑板前去指一指,师贴卡片,教学her, hair, nose

3. Watch cartoon and answer
T: OK. We know the parts of the two dolls. What do they look like? Please watch cartoon.

(2)师再次追问:What do they look like? How about her hair? How about his hair?
Ss answer. Her hair is long. 教学 long.
His hair is short. 教学short
(3)T: “Long” and “short” , they’re a pair of opposites.
Do you know any of the other opposites?

点击出现learning tip: Look at this tip. There are many opposites in English. for example, tall and short, fat and thin. We may learn quickly and remember well if we learn the opposites in pairs. Have you got it? 点击消失。
(4)T: How about the girl doll’s eyes? nose? mouth? How about the boy doll? Please take out the exercise paper. Fill in the blanks according to the pictures. Or you can read the story silently by yourselves. Pay attention to the opposites.
学生拿出课堂练习纸,完成填空。师播放背景音乐。
