             Master the sentences: It’s behind the door. It’s under your chair. 
Ability aims: Ss can describe the position by using “ in, on, under, behind”. 
Emotional aims: Cultivate the abilities of communication and the abilities of describing the position. 
Teaching important point: To make Ss master the new words and the sentences. 
Teaching difficult point: To make students describe the position by using “ in, on, under, behind”. Teaching procedure: Step 1 Warm up and lead in 1. Greeting. 
2. Let’s chant together. 
3. Watch the video in Part 1 and learn the new word: toy, under. 4. Read the dialogue in pairs. 5. Sing a song: on in under. Step 2 Task presentation 
1. Lead in and show the title: It’s in your desk. 
 
 
 
 
2. Learn the new words: behind, for, box, bedroom. 
3. Show the task: Describe the position by using “in, on, under, behind”. Step 3 Text learning 
1. Today is Daming’s birthday. His friends have a present for him.  (1) Listen to the video, and underline the sentences with “in, on, under, behind”. (2) Check the answers. 
(3) Learn the new words and sentences. 
2. Watch the video and try to follow it. Then answer the question “ Where’s the present? ” 
(1) Watch the video, read after it, and then correct in order. (2) Check the answer. Step 4 Practice 
1. Watch the video and imitate. 2. Read the text with your partner. 3. Play a game: Hide and find. Step 5 Task completion 
1. Ask and answer with “ What’s that? It’s a…. Where’s the …? It’s …” 
2. Show the pictures and describe the position. 3. Describe the position of the pictures in Part 4. 
 
 
 
 
Step 6 Summary and homework. 1. Sum up what we have learnt today. 2. Homework: 
(1) You must: Write the new words five times. (2) You must: Show the text to mom and dad. 
(3) If you can: Draw a picture of your classroom. Make a dialogue with your partner by using “ in, on, under, behind.”
