1.知识目标:
(1)能听懂、会说单词及短语, proud,spend-spent,be proud of,spend…doing sth
(2)能听懂、会说、会用句型: He spent about twenty-one hours in space. 
(3)理解课文意思,并能简单复述课文。
   2.能力目标: 
能够用一般过去时谈论和叙述一件过去发生的事情,学会用“who, where, what, when, how”这五个特殊疑问词来分析语篇。
3.情感目标: 
通过学习杨利伟的故事,激发学生的学习动机和爱国情结。
2学情分析
本课是外研社三起六年级下册英语第七模块第一单元的第一课时。该课内容与学生已经学习过第六模块内容连续构成“太空之旅”系列英语运用专题,它记叙了我国宇航员杨利伟2003年10月“21小时太空之旅”的辉煌历程以及杨利伟的儿子对父亲的自豪之情。话题对于学生来说并不陌生,主要考核学生对一般过去时的理解及综合运用。向学生教授阅读技巧,为第二课时海伦凯勒的语篇学习做好铺垫。
3重点难点
1.教学重点:掌握单词及短语proud,spend-spent,be proud of,spend…doing sth
并能简单复述课文。
2.教学难点:能运用一般过去时谈论过去发生的事情。
