Reduce, reuse and recycle.
Aims:
1. To understand the passage
2. To get the main idea of each paragraph;
3. To learn to make suggestions and give reasons

Some rules of word formation: prefix and suffix.

I. Lead-in	Ask Ss some questions about how to be green.	Discuss the questions about their daily life.
	Purpose 3min To get familiar with the topic by some easy questions..
II. Vocabulary	1. Make Ss work in groups to check the answers of the vocabulary in the Study Guide. 2. Ask the Ss to read the new words.	1. Work in groups. Check the answers of the vocabulary in the Study Guide. 2. Read the new words individually or in groups.
	Purpose 2min To get familiar with the vocabulary of the passage.

	Ask Ss to read the passage again and finish Exersise 6	Summarise the passage and practise the new words.
	Purpose 7min To summarise the passage and review the new words.
V. Writing	Ask the Ss to make a list things to protect the environment and give reasons.	Discuss the suggestions to protect the environment.
	Purpose 8min To think of more ways to protect the environment.
VI. Homework	Finish writing the passage on how to be green.
	Purpose To review the lesson by writing.
