一、教学内容分析
本模块是八年级上册的第二模块，以学生熟悉的“家乡”为主要话题， 围绕地理位置，人口，地方名胜和地标建筑等内容，通过开展听、说、读、写活动，帮助学生学习和使用形容词比较级进行比较。本模块形容词比较级的学习，能够为学生后续三、四模块学习形容词和副词的比较级和最高级奠定良好的基础。
本模块计划五课时完成，本课是第一课时，课型是听说课。本课对话内容主要围绕大明和Tony 谈论并比较深圳和香港两个城市展开。通过听，说，读活动，学生能够感知形容词的比较级的变化形式，理解其对两者进行比较的表意功能。
二、教学目标 1．语言知识目标：
1、根据形容词在句子中的重读，帮助理解重读词汇在句子中所强调的信息。 2、理解和领悟以下词汇在课文中的意义，并学会运用，如hill, population
million, wide, large等
3、能在对话中感知形容词（如tall, wide, big, busy等）比较级的变化形式
理解并能恰当运用形容词比较级形式来比较城市。
2．语言技能目标：
1、能通过听获取本课对话的的主要信息如谈话主题，城市地理位置，人口，
标志性建筑；
2、能在对话分析基础上借助表格，图示等用简单的语言和形容词比较级介绍
或对比两座城市。
3、能连贯朗读课文；能理解对话大意，从中找出有关信息；能通过对文本的
理解，体会说话者的情感。
3. 情感目标：
通过深圳的今昔对比感受城市的发展变化，感受生活越来越好；通过其他城市与家乡的对比，发现家乡的优势和存在的不足，激发学生为建设更美好的家乡做出努力。
三、教学重点和难点
重点：感知形容词在语境中的意义以及其比较级的变化形式。 难点：能运用所学名词和形容词对两座城市进行对比。
四、教学流程与设计意图 Step 1 Lead in
1.激发学生学习兴趣，导入课题
T: Do you want to watch a video of cities? 2. 视频图片相结合，熟悉话题相关词汇。
T: What can you see in the picture? 【设计意图】
1.借助视频吸引学生的注意力，引起学生兴趣，直观感受我国城市的特点，导入本课主题。
2. 借助视频和图片，激发学生表达欲望，促进其使用已知词汇，描述城市特点，为下面听力前活动热身。
Step 2 Listening 1. 听前词汇准备
Students describe the picture of Hong Kong and learn new words: hill, high, wide , population, large. 2. 听前预测
T: A guide is introducing these two cities. Guess: what will he tell us? 3. 第一遍听获取主要信息
Students listen and check what basic information the guide is introducing. 4. 第二遍听获取细节信息
Students listen and fill in the blanks.
5. 听后复述听力内容，注意介绍城市基本逻辑顺序
Students introduce Shanghai and Hong Kong by using the information they have got. 【设计意图】
1. 词汇理解。听前给出图片，帮助学生理解新单词的含义。
2. 点读正音。借助点读笔，使学生掌握词汇的正确读音，为下面的听力活
动做准备。
3. 培养学习策略。并指导学生边听边记录主要信息点，培养学生良好的学
习习惯，并形成学习策略。
4. 听获取主要信息如地理位置，人口，标志性建筑等。学生使用刚才学习
的词汇来完成任务，再次加深对词汇的理解和掌握。同时学生熟悉话题，了解介绍城市的基本流程。
5. 信息转换。听后，老师针对两点信息进行提问，学生利用所获取的信息
可直观感受比较级，理解比较级的表达意义；随后，利用图片和获取的信息复述所听内容，完成信息传递。

3. 师生互动，生生互动梳理对话内容，同时教师板书，呈现比较级变化规律，
学生感性认识比较级。 Past: a small village

4. 点读笔点读句子，学生体会重读规律及意义；学生模仿语音语调，体会情感。 • That’s larger than the population of many other cities. • Its streets are much wider and cleaner too. • It’s taller than many other buildings. • It’s getting bigger and busier.
Some day it will become as busy as Hong Kong I’m sure. How was your week end? Pretty good! I think it’s a beautiful city. I’d like to go there one day.
5. 观看视频，激发表达欲望，将所获得的信息进行加工，转述对话内容即介绍深圳。
T: How great the changes are！Would you like to introduce the beautiful city to more people?
【设计意图】
1. 获取对话主要信息，如事实观点等；
2. 获取细节信息。边听边完成信息填写，对城市的基本信息有所了解。 3. 文本的深层理解。师生就对话内容进行梳理，帮助学生对文本内容有深层的理解。板书呈现核心内容形容词比较级，学生可观察不同颜色和竖列排放的布局来感知不同形容词比较级的变化规则。
4. 点读帮助学生使用正确语调。教师点读两城市对比的句子，学生根据形容词在句子中的重读，理解重读词汇在句子中所强调的信息。借助点读笔朗点读出情感充沛的语调，帮助学生体会文字背后的情感。 5. 完成信息转换，进行语言输出。学生使用形容词比较级对城市今昔进行比较，并发表自己的观点。
6. 情感升华。在梳理对话时，学生可通过自己的理解，板书，以及视频感受深圳的变化，感受生活越来越好。
Step 4 Use
1.布置学生活动任务，学生使用本课所学进行表达。
T: Which city do you like better? Why do you think it’s better than your home town? Why your home town is better than other cities? Students work in group and debate. 2. 教师做活动总结，升华情感。 【设计意图】
1.用家乡和深圳,上海或香港作对比，检测学生是否达能理解比较级的对比功能，同时，将课本内的知识迁移出来，用使用所学知识进行比较。
2.设置讨论活动，让学生能够在讨论中提升综合运用语言的能力。最后教师的总结，达到情感上的升华。
