2教学目标
1、语言知识目标:掌握hill, population, wide, than , south, be famous for ,等词汇,以及单音节词和部分双音节词的比较级形式,形容词比较级-er的读音。2、语言技能目标:能比较两个地方的不同,能听懂读懂介绍家乡的对话,并用所学语言介绍自己的家乡。
3学情分析
八年级一班总有学生49人,经过一年的学习,已经具备了初步的逻辑思维能力和简单抽象的概括能力。养成了良好的英语学习习惯,掌握了一些科学 的学习方法。学生们无论在理解问题的能力,还是分析问题,解决问题的能力均有所提高。基础知识掌握得比较牢固。同学们对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣,乐于参与到学习活动中。
4重点难点
1、掌握单音节词和部分双音节词形容词的用法。2、能听懂看懂含有比较级句型的介绍家乡的对话。3、能运用所学知识,介绍自己的家乡。

Summer holiday is coming .Ask the students " Where are you going on your holiday ?"
活动2【导入】watch a video
watch a vedio about Shanghai and Hongkong,.
活动3【活动】talk about the two cities
talk about these two cities, present some important sentences ,such as : What's the population of Shanghai?
Shanghai is bigger than Hongkong.
read the sentences .
活动4【讲授】conclude the rules of comparison by themselves
read the sentences and discuss with partners , tell the rules of comparison.
活动5【练习】exercise
do some exercise about comparison .check the answers one by one .
活动6【活动】practise
practise comprasion by some pictures
活动7【练习】introduce our hometown－－Nanning
introduce our hometown by filling a short passage with some words .
this passage is including some sentences of comparison.
