一、 教学内容分析
本节课的教学内容是人教版新目标八年级英语上Unit 6 I'm going to study computer science的第一课时1a-2d。本课位于人教版八年级上六单元的第一部分,其主要内容就是学习关于职业的单词以及be going to的用法,用一般将来时谈论未来自己与他人理想的职业及原因,为实现理想所做出的打算和安排,以及制定未来一段时间内的学习计划。目的是通过对人生理想的讨论使青少年在这个如花的季节不仅对未来有美好的憧憬,而且要从现在做起,为健康的理想而奋斗。 二、教学目标 (1)知识目标:
要求学生掌握关于职业的名词:
computer programmer, computer science, engineer, pilot, scientist, violinist, pianist. 本课重点句型:
-What do you want to be when you grow up? -I want to be an engineer. -How are you going to do that? -I’m going to study math hard.
语法:用be going to表示一般将来时。 (2)能力目标:
能听懂有关人生理想的词汇及表达;能听懂有关未来计划的表达;能进行有关人生的谈话;能进行有关将来计划的讨论。培养学生用英语谈论将来计划,提高学生听、说、读、写等能力。 (3)情感目标:
通过对未来职业的讨论,让学生从小就树立自己的人生理想,并且现在就下决心,为理想而努力奋斗。使他们成为有理想,有抱负,有动力,健康成长的新一代青少年。 三、 教学重点、难点。 1.重点
词汇:要求学生掌握关于职业的名词。
computer programmer, computer science, engineer, pilot, scientist, violinist, pianist.
句型:要求学生掌握并能够正确运用。 -What do you want to be when you grow up? -I want to be an engineer. -How are you going to do that? -I’m going to study math hard.
语法:用be going to表示一般将来时。
2.难点:一般将来时be going to中be的具体形式和后面接动词原形的用法学生易混淆。学生根据自己喜欢的职业,运用所学知识谈论自己将如何实现目标,既是难点,又是能力训练点。 四、教学活动设计和教学方法
1.采用新课标倡导的“跨越式”英语教学模式,创造英语课堂良好的听说环境,让学生充分感知,积极体验,大胆实践,把握用英语交际的机会,鼓励学生大胆开口说英语。
2.任务型教学法:倡导体验参与,培养自主学习能力。课前布置任务,要求学生复习以前学过的关于职业的词汇,预习本课新词,让学生带着任务有目的地上课,并在课堂学习中不断获得完成此任务所必须的知识、能力、技能等,为最终完成任务作全面的准备。
3.借助多媒体辅助教学,形象、生动,使课堂容量相对增加,给学生提供更多的语言实践机会,有利于综合语言运用能力的提高。
4.教具:电脑多媒体,学生平板。 五、教学步骤 Step1 Warming-up
Greeting with students. There is an ad on Huashan Net. “My future plan”. Today we will talk about our future plans. First, let’s listen to a song, and then let students know the aim of this lesson. After that I will ask students what they heard in the song. Then ask students what other jobs they know to help them revise the words about jobs they learned.
设计意图:引出本课主线并借助概念图来引导学生复习以前学过的跟职业有关的单词,同时此环节能很好地活跃课堂气氛,使学生快速进入英语教学情境,给课堂带来轻松愉快的氛围。 Step2 Presentation
1. Use a question to lead in the new words.
2. Put the new words into the sentences, teach the new words. 设计意图:借助问题引入新词汇,这样过渡自然。同时通过一些学生熟知的人来学习新单词,并将单词放入句子中去,做到词不离句,在学习单词的同时为后面的句型学习做了铺垫。
Step3 Teach target language
After teaching new words, lead in the target language “-What do you want to be when you grow up? -I want to be …” “Why do you want to be…? Because…” Then ask students to practice the new words and sentence patterns.
设计意图:通过关于工作的单词导入新句型,在巩固运用单词的同时操练新句型。 Step4 Listening practice
Listen to 1b and fill in the column on the screen and then lead in another target language “-How are you going to do that? - I’m going to…” And use listening to break the difficult points.
设计意图:通过听力的方式来学习be going to的用法及巩固职业的单词,同时攻克本课时的重点短语和目标句型。 Step5 Pair work
After learning new words and sentences, ask students to practice how to use them.
“-How are you going to do that?” “-I’m going to …”
设计意图:根据学生的语言学习规律,先听后说,充分调动学生的各个感官,这样既能锻炼学生的听说水平,锻炼学生的反应能力,同时又能让学生整体感知知识的脉络,便于学生对知识的掌握。通过两两说进一步巩固新知。 Step6 Listening 2a, 2b
Listen to Cheng Han’s dream and future plan, extend the knowledge in this class. At the same time make preparations for the last comprehensive speaking.
设计意图:通过2a, 2b听力扩充本课时的内容,由单纯地谈职业、梦想升华到引导学生学习如何为自己的梦想做准备。 Step7 Pair work
After listening, ask the students to use classmate’s dream job to make a dialogue.
设计意图:在第一和第二人称的基础上,将对话进一步应用于第三人称的一般将来时。 Step8 Extensive listening and speaking
In this part, students will listen to 3 passages to revise and consolidate what they learned just now. At the same time to make preparations for the last comprehensive speaking.
设计意图:利用拓展听读部分帮助学生复习和巩固旧知,同时为最后的综合说做铺垫。 Step9 Comprehensive speaking
Let students complete the interview in their groups.
设计意图:运用表格设计了一个采访,吸引学生兴趣,引导学生由小到大,从个人的未来职业到他人的未来职业,从个人如何实现人生规划到他人如何实现人生规划,让学生用be going to进行口头报告,锻炼口语的能力,同时加强同学树立人生目标的情感升华。 Step10 Homework
