1a Listen, look and say. Kangkang: I saw a traffic accident yesterday. Many passengers were hurt. Darren: That’s terrible! I think traffic in Beijing is crazy.
Michael: You’ll get used to it soon. When I first arrived, I was afraid of riding my bike anywhere. But now I feel a little more confident.
Kangkang: If people obey the traffic rules, there will be fewer accidents. Jane: I think so. Now I like riding my bike around the city more than before. Darren: Me, too. Cycling can help us save energy and it doesn’t cause air pollution. Kangkang: I agree. It’s easy to park bikes, too.
一、整体设计思路、指导依据说明
本节课是仁爱英语八年级下学期Unit 6 Topic 3 Section A 的第一课时。本课通过Kangkang介绍他看到一起交通事故,引发Darren, Michael和Jane对交通安全和骑自行车的好处的讨论。在教学中,把英语学习和学生的生活实际相结合,教育学生要遵守交通规则,注意交通安全;倡导骑自行车有益身体、有益于环境的生活理念。
从教材的设计上来说, Section A的目的重在于听。根据听说课的要求,本人把本节课的活动按照Pre-listening, While-listening和Post-listening的顺序进行设计,各环节循序渐进,环环相扣,最终实现了本节课的学习目标。根据《英语新课程标准》,本人主要运用了任务型教学法及情景交际法,并采用多媒体课件进行辅助教学。
二、教学背景
1. 教学内容分析:
本话题是围绕自行车而展开。本课的主要内容包括:孩子们由一次交通事故展开讨论,引出语法项目“条件状语从句”和话题“骑自行车”。本课主要学习条件状语从句,评价别人的观点。首先让学生谈论喜欢的运动,引发兴趣,逐步过渡到自行车运动的话题。然后通过一些图片,教学部分新词汇,引出条件状语从句,为学生听1a对话完成1b扫除障碍。听后再读,完成1c,并在小组内进行对话表演。为了培养学生辩证地看问题,让学生讨论骑自行车的优缺点,完成1d。接着让学生找出本课重点短语并进行理解,同时完成相关的练习对所学内容进行巩固。最后总结归纳,完成本课时。
2. 学生情况分析:
经过了一个学年的学习,八年级学生已经有了一定的基础,能自由运用所学知识进行基本的交流。同时,这个阶段的学生记忆力好,好表现,好竞争,他们喜欢老师的赏识与表扬,有集体荣誉感,教学时可充分利用学生的这一特点,采用小组合作的方式,增强学生的兴趣和注意力,激发学生的竞争意识,让学生学得轻松,掌握得牢固。

五、教学过程设计(方法、手段、意图)
Step1.Leading-in
Ask and answer some questions: Do you like sports?
What’s your favorite sport? (basketball/ football/swimming /running/cycling…) Why do you like …?
Bicycle riding is good exercise.
(通过谈论学生喜欢的运动进行简单的问答,吸引学生的注意力,并且引入话题。) Step2.Pre-listening
1. Learn some new words: passenger, crazy, anywhere, pollution, advantage
2. Learn the adverbial clauses of condition.
Eg: If people obey the traffic rules, there will be fewer accidents. 3. Fill in the blanks with the correct words.

六、教学评价
1. 评价内容:
本节课以素质教育为目的,结合教材重点、难点以及英语学科的特点,采用情境交际法以及任务型教学法,并结合多媒体辅助教学。根据学生的情况,采用小组活动与教学相结合的方法,力求通过一系列有关听力活动的设计,能帮助学生掌握一定的听力技能,能听懂听力材料,同时也激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生自主学习以及团结合作的能力。课堂上,运用的小组活动,有利于增强学生的竞争意识,促进小组的合作,让学生在轻松愉悦的环境中积极主动地参与到课堂。教学过程中注重环节之间的有机联系,精心设计,循序渐进,做到环环相扣,步步为营。
2. 评价方法:
评价方法主要采取小组激励性的评价,对学生评价的机会很多,对每一位(组)的学生的发言,都给予积极的评价,评价中注意理解、尊重学生。教师对学生的评价,学生对学生的认可,往往能使学生获得自信和成就感,满足他们的心理需要,让学生在评价机制和竞争机制中体验成长发展的快乐,受人赞赏的自豪。
