一、 学情分析
本班大部分学生对英语学习有浓厚兴趣和愿望,喜欢任务型的教学活动,有较强的求知欲和表现欲,但部分学生由于小学基础不够扎实,存在不自信,羞于表现等思想顾虑。还有一小部分学生基础较差,对英语学习的内在动力不足,没有学习毅力和良好的学习习惯,容易开小差,跟不上。因此在教学中需要努力营造宽松、和谐、活跃的教学氛围,设计一些适合他们的活动或小组合作的活动,让上层学生可以帮助他们一起完成任务,使他们克服恐惧心理,大胆运用英语交流,让他们体验成功的喜悦,提高他们的自信心。
二、 教材分析
本课时设计的是本单元第三课时,即SectionB的新授课。通过前面两个课时的学习,学生对时间顺读法有了一定认识和理解,而本课时将学习更高层次的时间表达法,用past和to的逆读法,这对于初一的学生是比较困难的,同时会用到half和quarter这两个时间表达词汇,以及in the morning/afternoon/evening等的出现对初一的学生来说都是一个不小的挑战。其二,要求熟练使用目标语言谈论自己和询问他人的日常作息习惯,掌握句型“—When do they usually eat breakfast?—They usually eat breakfast at a quarter to seven.” 以及第三人称单数的句型“—When does Tom usually get up?—He usually gets up at half past five in the morning.”本课时要注重听说的训练。
三、 教学安排
本课用1 课时完成,45分钟。设计多样化、多元化,提高学生学习的主动性,培养他们交际英语的能力。课文1e部分做了调整,在完成1c,1d之前设计一个飞行棋的游戏,学生充分操练了所学的重点难点和句型,也为1d检测答案时学生可以与同桌一问一答的方式完成任务做好了铺垫。而且飞行棋设计的句型操练比1e单纯问Tom’s day 丰富很多,学生还可以

对比句型,加深理解。最后的拓展部分—分享彼此的周末,向好的同学学习,开阔学生的思维,积累词汇,不再限于讨论平时上学日的日常(在SectionA两课时已经学了很多日常词组且在本课时1b,1c部分用进行巩固)。平时上学日,很多同学都差不多,但周末有的同学过得很有意义,充实,有的却很懒惰,学习很被动,浪费很多时间。因此设计分享周末,让他们在活动中互相学习良好的作息习惯,不但在上学日、周末、或假期都要学会珍惜时间。
四、 教学思路
本课时从“理解学习—初步体验—巩固运用—综合运用”的思路进行教学。本课时以听说为主线,强调的是全员参与,既有个人竞争,同时又有俩俩合作或小组合作的活动方式进行教学。内容设计循序渐进,运用各种形式,如游戏、比赛、小组活动、相互分享、汇报等。
五、 教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标
1) 学生能掌握以下词汇及短语:
half, past, quarter, homework, run, walk, clean,do one’s homework,take a walk 2) 学生掌握时间的表达法,即顺读法和逆读法。能运用past,to,half past ,a quarter来表达时间。
3) 学生能掌握以下句型
--When do they usually eat breakfast?
--They usually eat breakfast at a quarter to seven. —When does Tom usually get up? —He usually gets up at half past five. 2. 语言技能目标
1)学生会用past和to 表达相应时间以及quarter和half的用法。 2)学生能灵活运用目标句型“When do you...? ”进行对话和交流。
3)学生能听懂谈论日常作息时间,并获取有效信息,同时发展对目标语言的听说能力。
3. 情感态度价值观目标
通过互相询问和谈论自己或对方的作息时间安排和活动计划,可以培养学生良好的作息习惯和守时习惯。

在教学过程中贯彻以学生为中心的原则,通过观察理解学习,来引导学生询问时间以及谈论与时间相关的话题,渗透认知策略;设计多样化的活动,引导学生体验、交流,实现交际策略。

促使学生对于时间的合理安排,唤起学生对生命的意义的理解,要珍惜时间做一些有意义的事情,无论是平时上学时间,周末时间,或寒暑假的时间,都要好好利用。

六、 教学重点:
1.让学生掌握用past和to 的逆读法来表达时间,掌握quarter和half 的使用方法。
2.学习并记忆更多描述日常生活的动词短语及目标语言。
3.用所学词汇及句型谈论自己和询问他人的日常作息习惯,懂得第三人称单数的运用。
七、 教学难点:
1.让学生灵活运用past和to 的逆读法来表达时间,能清晰区分past和to 的运用和quarter和half 的使用方法。
2.掌握运用本节课所学习的一些日常活动的表达方式。学生在真实语境中使用目标词汇、句型进行交流,特别是第三人称单数的运用。
