By the end of the lesson, my students are expected to
1. know the meaning and pronunciation of the new words and expressions: encyclopaedia, look up, exist, skeleton, footprints, create, cartoon characters,
2. recognize the text features and understand the text by applying reading strategies such as predicting, skimming, scanning, inferring and analyzing information,
3. develop basic skills of searching for information in an encyclopaedia,
4. appreciate the value of obtaining new knowledge from different sources.
