2. 在教师的引导和训练下,学生能正确理解和朗读cartoon time中的故事,能读懂其中趣味之处,并养成良好的阅读习惯。 3. 通过培养学生学英语的兴趣,运用英语的意识。 Teaching key points and difficult points:
1、通过制作讨论家谱,学生能够熟练运用句型Who is she/ he? She’s / He’s my….
2、让学生能正确理解、掌握对话内容,并能朗读对话。 Teaching Aids:多媒体,PPT Teaching Procedures:
Step 1 Warm up and presentation 1.Free talk T: Hello, xxx.
How old are you ?
What’s this ? Is this your …? Where is …?
Who’s he/ she?
【设计意图】通过师生间的问候培养学生和老师之间用英语交流的习惯。
2. 揭题:we are twins
出示Su Hai 和Su Yang的照片 T:Who is she?
S: She is Su Hai . She is Su Yang.
T: Yes, they are twins. So today we will learn Unit8 We’re twins.
3. Game游戏规则:看到图片或单词,大声说出来,看见炸弹,大喊bomb. 【设计意图】运用Game活跃课堂气氛,有效复习与本节课相关的单词,激活学生已有的知识储备,达到了良好的热身效果和承上启下的作用。
4.呈现句型
T:(本班一男学生图片)Who’s he? Who is this boy?
S2:He is …
出示句型 Who is he? He is …
Who is this / that … ? She / He is … T:(本班一女学生图片) Who’s she? Who is this girl ?

出示句型 Who is she? She is …

【设计意图】从熟悉的本班学生、老师入手,运用他们生活中的照片,学习新句型Who is he? Who’s she? Who is this / that … ? 学生对身边同学、老师的生活照很感兴趣,他们在真实的语境中学习,在交流中获得新知。
Step 2 Fun time 1 Family tree
T: I have another picture. Look at this picture, it’s my family . You can try to ask! Look, these sentences are useful(指板书句型) T: Who is the baby ?(学生猜测图片中的婴儿是谁) S(指着照片中的人): Who is he? Who is she?
师一边回答一边贴family tree上的单词 grandpa, grandma, father, mother, uncle, aunt
2 学生操练Fun time
①同桌两人指着自己的family tree并操练句型 ② 反馈:
T: It is show time. Which group ?
【设计意图】通过让学生猜测老师family tree 中的人物,让学生走进生活,在比较真实的语境中运用语言。在课前的准备活动中,学生自己动手设计制作family tree,让学生在活动中积极开动脑筋,极大地提高了学生的创新思维能力。同桌互相展示、讨论的环节,既操练了本节课的重点句型,又将课内学习延伸到课外,引导学生love your family members. 该环节让学生充分展示自我、实现自我,体验成功的快乐,实现了情感态度的提升。
Step 3 Cartoon time 1. 处理动画 ①出示配图并回答
Where are Sam and Bobby? A. At school B, at sam’s home
②(一看)Watch the cartoon and find their names. T:Who’s he/ he/ he? (S:John, john, john) T;指着Sam:Is he John,too? (S:No, he is Sam) T:出示最后一幅图及录音,体会Sam的心情
T;Who can try to read? Who want to be Sam? (请2-3位学生品读) ③T:There are 3 johns in Sam’s family! Why? Can you say in Chinese?询问个别学生后,出示:Here’s a tip for you!(出示tip)
T;In Western countries, the parents give the baby a name from their friends or relatives, to memorize the love to them!
④(二看) watch and stick 看动画贴sam’s family tree 学生贴图并教授单词cousin
【设计意图】老师层层设置问题where are Bobby and Sam ? → What are their names? → What are their relationships with Sam? 引导学生在听之前读图,提高从文中获取关键信息的能力,并让学生讨论得出中西方取名的差异。
最后通过学生贴Sam家谱的环节,考察学生对文章的理解能力,吃透文中各个任务的关系。
2. Happy reading.
选择一种方式读课文:齐读、表演、跟读、一人一句读 3. 学生展示
【设计意图】采取灵活多样的操练形式,帮助学生进一步巩固文本内容。任务的分层设置,为不同层次、不同能力的学生提供了运用语言的可能。
