T:Oh,I see. I have some fruit. Do you like fruit? C:Yes,I do.
T:Very good .Let’s say “hey ,hey ,wonderful! ” C: Hey ,hey ,wonderful! 2.LEAD IN :
T:look ,what’s in my hand ? T&C: A carrot.
T: What do you think of the carrot ? (拿出另一个大的)

T&C: Wow! a big carrot.Let’s put the big carrot on the blackboard.
T: Do you like the carrot ? C: Yes , I like the carrot . 3 .TELL THE STORY : the big carrot

T: OK. Let’s have a look at the cartoon. 4.TALKING ABOUT THE STORY : T:What’s the name of the story? C: The big carrot . T: Who is in the story ?
C:Grandpa-Tom ,grandma-Ifra ,boy/brother-Nick,girl/Sister-Lin .What other animals are there in this story? C:A dog-Sam,a cat-Kit,and a rat,two rabbits. T: what happened in the story?
T&C: A grandpa/Tom wants to tug out the big carrot.

T: Why couldn’t grandpa/Tom tug out the carrot ? C: Because the carrot is too/so big . T: Who helped grandpa ?
C: Grandma ,little girl ,little dog ,little cat ,little mouse .
T: What do you think of this story?
C: It is really interesting/funny. (tell the story again) 5.Have the children act out the story.(让每个小朋友都参与到故事表演中) 6.Make a new story.
