The humorous story of Freddy and his band is similar in some ways to the real-life story of the Beatles, a British band of the 1960s. Read the material below and write an email to John Lennon, a member of the team and give your ideas and suggestions on WHETHER THE BAND SHOULD REUNITE OR NOT.
Beatles, a British band of the 1960s, kept the interest of the entire pop music world from the time of their first hit, “Love Me Do”, in 1962 to their last hit in 1970, “The Long and Winding Road”. They were sometimes called the “Fab Four”, meaning the fabulous four (Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Star) and even the greatest rock ‘n’ roll band of all time. Their American debut on the Ed Sullivan Show in February, 1964 has been described as the single greatest event in rock ‘n’ roll history. More than 50,000 people tried to get one of only 703 seats available in the small theater. Another 73 million people watched it on TV. It led to a craze called “Beatlemania” and changed the way teenage boys in the West dressed and styled their hair.
Although the Beatles were and still are very popular, they never felt comfortable with their fame. Indeed, they became so disappointed with the noise and dangers of playing concerts that they stopped making tours in the summer of 1965. In 1970, after dozens of hit songs but also after many quarrels among themselves, the Beatles broke up. Each of them went on to experience varying degrees of success as individual artists but none ever reached the level of the band’s success. Request from fans and critics alike for them to reunite and tour again.
Dear Mr. John Lennon,
I’m sorry to hear the news that your band broke up not long ago. As individuals, you each have always been great artists and masters in music as you are in a group. Recently some critics have required you members to reunite. And as for that issue I want to give you some of my own ideas.

Above all are my views on whether you should reunite or not. And thanks again for being such a huge inspiration to all our fans. As long as you could enjoy creating your music and your life, we fans would be more than happy to hear that.
Yours sincerely,
