本节课为仁爱英语八年级上册Unit 3 Topic3 Section A, 学生在话题一谈论个人的兴趣爱好、话题二学习关于音乐的分类及喜好的基础上,通过谈论周末活动引入话题三的主要语法项目“过去进行时”,本话题贴近学生生活,学生能够描述过去某个时刻正在发生的动作并结合自己的生活实际谈论过去的活动。另外, 在本节听说课中,先听为主,听说结合,注重培养学生抓关键词完成信息的能力。

Look at the pictures about Tom and Jerry, ask and answer the questions:
T: Who are they? Ss: They are Tom and Jerry.
T: Do you like them? Ss: Yes.
T: What are Tom and Jerry doing now?
Look at another picture, and ask:
T: What was Jerry doing at this time yesterday ?
Ss: He was dancing.
Here is a picture about Tom.
T: What was Tom doing at eight o’clock last night ?
Ss: He was playing with Jerry.
T: Tom and Jerry are very funny. Do you think so? Do you like them?
In this topic we’ll learn a conversation about Jane and Maria. Let’s see what they were doing at this time yesterday.
