Knowledge aims:
1. 能够正确拼读answer, shower, news, museum等。
2. 能正确说出一些有关生活学习活动的短语, 例如chat with friends,listen to the news等。
3. 能正确地运用was/were + doing。
4. 能运用本课所学语言,就过去或现在正在做的事情进行正确的描述。
Skill aims:
1. 能听懂有关谈论过去和现在所做的事情,听懂电话用语。
2. 能正确地使用电话用语,并能在生活中自由谈论自己和他人过去某一时间正在做的
事情。
3. 能正确朗读课本的文本材料,读懂介绍某个时段在做什么的文章。
4. 能用过去进行时正确描述某人某一天所做的事情。
Emotional aims:
培养学生快乐学英语的心态;培养学生不惧怕犯错误,勇敢用英语表达的信心。
2学情分析
根据七年级的教学情况来看,本节课的授课班级八年级一班为同等水平的学生中成绩较优的班级。班中绝大部分同学能够紧跟老师的进度,上课发言积极,注意力集中。而且也养成了较好的预习习惯,都能够自觉背诵新课单词和短语,预习课本内容。所以本节课课堂节奏紧凑,授课教师想通过引导学生观察思考和设置任务让学生大面积的操练来达到让学生最大程度掌握重点知识的目标。
3重点难点
Key points:
1. 熟练掌握电话用语。
2. 学习过去进行时。
3. 学习有关活动的短语。如:chat with friends, visit a museum, listen to the news
Difficult points:
学习有关活动的短语如,chat with friends, visit a museum, listen to the news并能够将这些短语正确应用于过去进行时之中。

活动1【活动】Class activity
Follow the teachers to dance together. Chicken dance.
活动2【导入】Task 1
1. Students look at the pictures and answer the questions.
2. Looking at the picture, do the pair work to review the Present Continuous.
3. Say out the usages and structures of the Present Continuous according to the teacher’s guidance.
活动3【讲授】Learn the past continuous
4. Look at the picture and key words, answer questions.
5. Look at the examples carefully and think about the usages and structures of the Past Continuous
活动4【导入】Task 2
1. Look at the pictures and make sentences using “was /were doing” one by one. Read together.
2. Look at the pictures and do the pair work using
“Was/Were …doing?”.
活动5【讲授】Present 1a
3. Watch the flash and find out the answers to the questions.
4. Read after the tape sentence by sentence.
5. Read the passage together with the recording again.
6. Take out pens and underline some useful expressions and take some notes if necessary.
7. Read 1a and try to recite.
8. Look at the screen and read 1a without looking at the book.
