教学设计说明
一、教材分析
本节课是牛津英语九年级上Module 3 Unit 6 detectives 的阅读部分Protecting the innocent的第一课时。本节课主要是通过泛读和部分精读的方式把握文章重要细节,用科学严谨的推理思路根据事实作出合理判断。在阅读中培养学生一定的阅读能力,比如预测内容,提取细节,推断信息,概括大意等,让学生能够独立自主地完成一些阅读练习。渗透德育教学,呼吁学生诚信守法。
二、学情分析
九(1)班是围棋特色班,英语水平整体中上。经过将近四年的学习,除了个别基础不是很扎实的学生,大部分学生养成了良好的学习习惯,英语学习积极性比较高。在课堂上能积极表达自己的观点,能在老师的引导下步步为营,完成学习任务。设计这样一节阅读课是想对学生的阅读方法作一定的指导,并鼓励学生大胆表达自己的见解,设计有层次有坡度的提问,鼓励各个层次的学生都参与课堂活动。
三、设计说明
本课的pre-task部分,通过微课引出"侦探"这个话题,随即让学生讨论他们印象中侦探应该是什么样子的,把学生的见解罗列在黑板上并以此为切入口自然导入课文。
接下来是本课的while-task部分。本节课的课文是一个采访,主要内容是讲述Detective Ken如何破案,由于生词比较多,因此学生在理解课文的时候有些困难,我在仔细分析了课文之后,把这节阅读课的重心放在帮助学生理清Detective Ken是如何根据线索破案上,帮助学生学会如何根据事实作出合理的推测,推理的过程是我这节课的重点。因此,针对这样的教学目的,我设计了三大块内容。首先通过展示给学生课文的title、introduction和插图要求学生回答What was the crime? Did the detective solve it? What happened to the criminal?三个问题引导学生猜测发生了什么事情,想借此活动培养学生predicting的能力,为他们之后更好地学习课文打下基础,同时也希望能够借此引起学生的阅读兴趣,带着疑问去仔细阅读课文。接下来要求学生快速浏览全文,把对话分段,既能让学生对全文有个初步了解也能帮助学生理清文章结构。最后进入到分段讨论环节。学生通过阅读课文1至9行,能够回答我提出的四个问题:What is Mr. Jones’s hobby? How much did he pay for the vase? Where
did Mr. Jones put the vase? Why did Mr. Jones call Detective Ken to his house? 在学生回答完这四个问题之后,我又让学生通过关键词对这个案子的起因又复述了一遍,希望学生能够对这个案子加深印象有所帮助。其次,我根据Detective Ken破案过程,把课文切割为3部分,10至19行、20至25行、26至41行。第一部分重点要求学生找线索,并推断这些线索可能会带出什么样的结论。第二部分继续挖掘更深层的线索,相应地设计了一个表格内容、根据事实猜测可能结论。第三部分则让学生带着对第二部分结论的不确定性继续阅读文本,然后回答三个问题Who stole the vase? Why? Who stole Jill’s earring? Why? Why does Ken like being a detective?案子到此真相大白,学生通过对整个案件进行回顾,得出“一个好的侦探是不会匆忙下结论的”这一情感目标。为了前后呼应,检测学生的推理是否正确,回到课前的三个问题What was the crime? Did the detective solve it? What happened to the criminal?通过对问题的回答,也能检测学生对整个案件是否清晰。
第三部分post-reading,落实到学生的概括能力——通过填空练习帮助学生总结课文,既提高学生的综合运用能力,也是对整个课堂的一个检测。最后要求学生对文本中的人物进行评价,引出情感教育,给学生树立正确的价值观。
