2学情分析
九年级学生对这一类的神话传说故事比较熟悉,在阅读过程中能较好地根据自己的背景知识进行词义猜测、上下文语意揣摩等,从而扫清语言障碍,获得阅读的自信。学生比较乐意参与对语篇的解读,并有超越语篇来诠释文本内涵的语言基础和心理准备。
3重点难点

4.1.1教学活动
活动1【导入】Step1: Pre-reading
1. Greetings
2. Lead-in
T:拿出一个圆形的盒子,引导说When I see the round box, I can think of a birthdaycake. And I have full feelings.
并提问学生:What can you think of when you see the circle? 学生的回答多种多样,男生多数回答如basketball、volleyball等球类,女生的回答通常是apple pie, the sun等,也有部分学生想到mooncakes。教师肯定学生的回答,并利用学生答语中已经提到月亮的契机说道:While these things come and go, only the moon stays in the sky forever giving us full feelings
并在幻灯片上呈现圆月的图景,同时与学生展开以下对话,自然地将话题聚焦到了中秋节:
T: What moon is it?
Ss: Full moon.
T: Well, when we enjoy the full moon, we can have full feelings. And when we see the full moon, what festival can we think of?
Ss: The Mid-Autumn Festival.
3. Free talk
此时,教师自然地承接话题:Do you know the origin of Middle-Autumn Festivel?
教师对学生说:Today, there is a touching story about the festival. Come on, guys! Let's enjoy it!
活动2【讲授】 Step 2: While-reading

教师让学生快速阅读文章并圈出主要的人物角色。

活动3【活动】Step 3: Post-reading
1.Role-play a conversation according to the story
2.Continue writing
角色扮演后,教师问:Just now, we enjoyed your performance. But let's remember the ending of the story. Is it happy or sad? 学生回答:Sad! 此时教师适时引发学生思考并让学生在小组内合作续写故事:I don't think the story has finished. Can you continue the story and give it an ending? Then you will have a full story! 续写的内容被设置了一个有意思的场景,即多年后的今天,给嫦娥奔月的故事编写一个与众不同的结尾。
3. Experience the beauty of literature
续写之后,学生对该故事有了不同层次的认知,教师引导学生回到实际生活中,模仿文本标题创作短语,并让每位学生有机会说出自己的full feelings.
活动4【作业】 Step 4: Homework
1. Write your feelings about the Mid-Autumn Festival and share it on your blog or WeChat (微信)!
2. Do something for your parents with your full feelings! Maybe you can read an English poem to your parents with your full feelings ...
