1.指导思想与理论依据
《英语课程标准》中明确指出，基础教育阶段英语课程的任务之一是：激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生树立自信心，养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习方法，发挥自主学习的能力和合作精神，使学生掌握一定的语言综合运用能力，倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径，培养学生跨文化交际意识。
2.教学背景分析
初一（1）班为我校住宿班，学生英语的整体水平较好，学生参与课堂的热情较高，但是班级存在两极分化情况，需要在课堂活动中多加关注并搭建合理的台阶达到学生学习的发生和教学目标的实现。
通过本单元前3课时的听说及语法练习，学生掌握了一般过去时的基础知识和运用，能简单谈论过去的事情，本课通过图片及文本输入，巩固所学知识,提高理解的能力以及综合运用语言能力。
3.教学目标(含重、难点)
知识与技能
本课是新目标英语七年级下册第11单元，教材以 How was your school trip ? 为中心话题，围绕着描述“过去发生的事情”展开，询问过去的事件，让学生学会谈论和分享过去发生的事件。 语法：
①能正确使用be动词的一般过去时描述或询问过去的状态 ②能正确使用实意动词的一般过去时描述或询问过去发生的事情 过程与方法
师生互动、同伴交流，探究性学习、感知体验；
情感态度价值观
了解学校内外的各种旅游活动。合理利用节假日的时间，多参加一些有益的户外活动。
教学重点：
1. 掌握与郊游话题相关的词汇、短语，能够使用描述性形容词，动词的过去式。 2. 能够了解郊游日记的结构并描述过去事件的过程。 教学难点：
正确运用所学话题相关词汇,有详略地完成口头输出任务。
教学过程

Ask students to read the two diary entries. 1streading: read and answer questions. 2nd
reading: read and complete the chart. 3rd reading: read the whole passage and help students to develop critical thinking. 4th reading: read for elements and structure.

4. Read and get the elements of the diary , then read the whole passage.
结合教材，引导学生深入文本，帮助学生在自然语境中认知目标语言。 第一步，通过第一遍阅读，掌握文章大意和作者态度；
第二步，通过二读，了解文章中描述性的内容；通过第三读，引导学生关注活动描述，对文章内容更加熟悉；同时引导学生进行批判性思维。 第三步，通过关注旅游日记写作的要素，引导学生整体感知语言，并在真实语境中关注和运用目标语言。
