学生情况分析:
本课的教学对象是初一学生,他们有较强的求知欲和表现欲,能适应英语教学。同时,这节课的内容不局限于课本,通过图片、视频等让学生融入到课堂中来,让学生体验多样的记忆单词的方法。针对部分基础薄弱的学生,教师可以通过肢体语言、面部表情,帮助其理解课堂内容。

活动1【导入】导入
Step 1  Review and lead in.
1.Complete the dialogues according to the pictures .
A: What’s his / her name?
B: His / Her name is ….
A: Where is he / she from?
B: He/ She is from ….
( 设计意图:利用学生熟悉的名人照片,复习旧知引发对新知的好奇, 快速集中学生注意力,能在短时内迅速投入新课学习。)
2.Draw students’ attention to numbers after talking about their math teacher.
T: Who is she?    
Ss: She is Wu Yifang.
T: She is your math teacher. I think she is good at numbers. She likes numbers.
 ( 设计意图:由谈论现任数学老师, 导入新课数字学习, 更能引发学生共鸣, 提高他们参与课堂活动的积极性。)
活动2【讲授】讲授数字单词
Step 2. Presentation.
Show pictures and phonetic symbols of the numbers (0-10), teach the pronunciation of the numbers. Teach students to learn about the rules of open and closed syllables.
 ( 设计意图: 趣味图片, 直观形象, 满足学生的认知心理; 音标教学, 呈现学法渗透, 逐步培养学生的自学能力。)
活动3【练习】巩固新单词
Step 3.  Consolidation of numbers.
T: Boys and girls, in order to master the numbers, we need to finish 5tasks.
Task 1 . Let’s read.
  Read numbers in 1b (P13) ,and ask students to pay attention to the rising and falling tones.
Ask them to read the numbers by themselves. After they prepare for some time, choose some of them to read the numbers one by one.
Task 2. Let’s count.
    Show the video (Bob the train ) and ask students to count the numbers with Bob.
Task 3. Let’s find.
Show a picture of a city and ask students to find the numbers of different objects.
 T: How many cars / buildings / trees are there in the picture?
 Ss: …
 T: Now , look at the classroom. How many doors / windows / teachers are there in the classroom?
Ss: …

Task 4. Let’s calculate.
     Provide some simple math problems for students to work out.

 Task 5. Let’s write.
Ask students to write down the words (zero-ten) according to their pronunciations.

Step 4. Teaching new sentence structures.
1.Ask students to write down the numbers they hear. Point at the numbers and tell them it is my telephone number. Present the dialogue on the blackboard.
A: What is your telephone number ?
B: My telephone number is …./  It is ….
A: What’s your QQ number?
B: It’s …
2.Ask students to make similar dialogues with their partners.

 Step5. Presentation ( 1a P13)
1.Lead in.
Show some important public phone numbers such as 110 , 120 …
 T:When there is a fire, we should call…?
 Ss: 114.
 T: When someone gets hurt, we should call …?
 Ss: 120.
 T: When a boy can’t find his mom, we should call…?
 Ss: 110.
 T: When we call 110, who will come?
 Ss: A policeman.
 T:  Look at the boy. He can’t find his mom. Try to guess. What will the policeman ask the boy?
 Ss: What’s your name? 
    Where are you from?
 ( 设计意图:利用图片,设置情境,读前预测任务的完成, 为培养学生的英语阅读微技能提供可能。)
Ask students to read 1a and finish two tasks.
Fill the name card about the boy.
Find out the phrase and the sentence in 1a.

Step 6. Project.
1.Show the name card of Li Jie.
T: If you were Li Jie, please introduce yourself to me.
Ss: My name is Li Jie. I am from …
T: Here is my name card. Can you help me introduce myself?
Ss: Yes. My name is Candice Ou. Ou is my family name. ….
2.Make a name card for yourself and introduce yourself to the others.
Provide a card for each student and ask them to fill in the name card.

Step7. Homework.
Finish the exercises in Section C ( 同步练习册)
Recite the numbers(0-10) and new sentence structures.
Write a passage to introduce your dad or mom.
