五年级的大部分学生的基础还可以，有一部分学生对语法掌握的比较扎实，也有少数同学基础比较薄弱，不敢开口表达.五年级英语在小学英语教学中起着承上启下的作用，既是四年级的衍生，又是六年级的铺垫，包括很多内容如单词和词组的记忆，固定搭配，各种时态，语音，名词单复数，动词第三人称单数，阅读等等。由于学生课后接触英语的时间很少，太多的内容使一部分的学生对于英语都处于十分迷茫的状态。 解读教材

本课是闽教版（三起）五年级上册Unit 4 A Spring Outing Part B.本课教材内容贴近日常生活，呈现给学生生活中真实的情景——描述正在发生的事情。本课要求学生能听懂并在真实的情景中运用所学的目标语言描述正在发生的事情，并将一般现在时与现在进行时进行辨析。

本节课我针对小学生的年龄和心理特征以及学生的英语基础，根据英语教学中的听说读写的能力培
养，创设了多样的情景进行教学，并运用了chant，自编歌谣，小游戏，丰富的肢体语言等给学生创造轻松愉快的学习氛围。单词、词组和句子的教学都是词不离句，句不离境，教学环节层层递进，直观形象地突出重点，突破难点，并联系生活实际，让学生拓展知识的同时也感受我们广西的三月三节日文化，让学生做到了学以致用。不足之处就是在学生谈到收获句子时应让学生说说是哪些句子会更好。
