教学目标
一、知识目标: 掌握并运用单词:cup, planned, baseball, more, smile, mistake, with, said 并能够区分单词:cup、cap. 能运用 Why do you have cups on your heads? Why are you laughing? 等句型来询问不理解的事情的原因,并能用过去式的语言 对过去发生的事情进行描述。
 二、能力目标: 在听、说、读、演、做的过程中,学习语言,培养学生的综合能力。
三、情感目标: 培养学生学习英语的兴趣,鼓励敢于开口说英语,不怕犯错误。
2学情分析
本课所面对的教学对象是12-13岁的小学六年级学生,他们喜欢对自己感兴趣的事物进行分析,思维较为活跃。他们的知识储备和思想情感快速增长,已具备英语阅读理解和分析问题的能力,但是对文本的逻辑关系思路不清。
3重点难点
重点:能用“Why …?”对不理解的事情进行询问并回答。 难点:综合运用一般现在时态、现在进行时态和一般过去时态。

活动1【导入】Step1: Warming up.

3.了解本课学习目标。
活动2【讲授】 Step2: Leading in.
Look and say. 用班级中学生的照片导入,课件呈现活动一的图片,询问照片中的学生,
1).Why are you laughing? Because I am happy.
2). Why are you crying? Because I am sad.
3). Why is she sleeping? Because she is tired.
4). Why is he running? Because he is afraid.
用chant Why are you laughing?
Because I am happy, happy, happy.
Why are you crying?
Because I am sad, sad, sad.
Why are you sleeping?
Because I am tired, tired, tired.
Why are you running?
Because I am afraid, afraid, afraid.
进行总结.
活动3【讲授】Step3:Presentation.
Step3:Presentation.
1). Free talk---Look and say .(课件展示:图片They are laughing. They had cups on their heads.)
T: Look, what are they doing? S: They are laughing.
T: what did they have on their heads? S: They had cups on their heads. 引出本节课的学习内容并提出问题。
T: Why are they laughing? and Why do you have cups on your heads?
S: They are laughing. 对课文提出问题。带着问题学习课文。
2) 带领学生一起学习第一段内容。圈出每句中的动词过去式,解释句子意思。
 
活动4【导入】step4 Groupwork
Step 4
1)Groupwork仿照老师带领学生学习的步骤分小组完成任务。圈出动词过去式,解释句意。阅读课文,解释请1.2.组完成第二段的任务。请3.4组完成第三组的任务。(重点在培养学生的自主学习能力和小组合作能力。
2)完成对课文的理解,提出重难点句子进行解析。It’s easy to make mistakes with English words. 在英语单词中很容易犯错和I make lots of mistakes with Chinese words too.在汉语中我也犯了很多的错误。
活动5【练习】Step5. Consolidate
Step5. Consolidate
1) 观看课文动画,第一遍,进一步理解课文语境及内容。第二遍跟读课文,注意模仿语音语调。
2)随堂练习,根据课文用动词的正确形式填空:
a. Daming told him the story. (tell)
b. They planned to play a baseball game.(plan)
c. Lingling brought some cups. (bring)
d. They all laughed. (laugh)
e. He said. “I make lots of mistakes with    Chinese words too. (say)
f. Sam opened  his bag. (open)
3) 课文理解练习
根据课文回答问题:
a. Why are they laughing?
Because they have cups on their heads.
b. Why do they have cups on their heads?
Because Lingling made a mistake with cups and caps.
4)解析课文中Lingling犯错误的原因,cups not caps
例句学习中容易犯错误的单词。Sheep-ship ,big-pig,
Cat-kite,meat-meet, house-horse提醒学生在学习中做到发音准确,仔细认真。

1)pairwork
A: Why are you laughing?
B: Because I am happy. I am going to have   a happy Children’s Day.
A: What are you going to do at Children’s Day?
B:I am going to  row a boat  in the park.
A: That’s good!
6)Read and guess the riddles
a. Why was 9 afraid 7?
Because 7 eight (ate) 9.
b. Why did the dog sit under the tree?
Because it didn’t  want to be a hot dog.
学生在轻松愉快的对话中结束本课学习。
活动7【导入】Step7 Homework:
Step7 Homework:
1.熟读课文,并背诵课文中出现的动词过去式。
2.总结容易发音错误的单词。
3.Write your Children’s Day’s Plan.
