教学目标
1、90%students can master the following nine new words in listening 、speaking、reading and writing by autonomous learning : show, work, hospital, restaurant, on, farm, teach, act and driver;
2、80% students can Use the patterns “What do\does sb do?” and “Where do\does sb do \work?” to express one’s occupations and inquiring workplaces by cooperative learning. .
3、70% students can understand and learn how to use the word formation: v.+er\or→n. to build new words.
2学情分析
The students in my class have had a little more interest in learning English after about 2-month middle school English study. Also they have had some basic skills about hearing 、speaking、reading and writing. They can use simple English words to express what they like or dislike.
3重点难点
1. Using the patterns “What do\does sb do?” and “Where do\does sb do \work?” to express one’s occupations and inquiring workplaces .
2.. learn the word formation: v.+er\or→n.

活动1【导入】Organization
1、 Greetings
2、 Everyday report :Make a self introduction
活动2【活动】Revision
1.Say out words about jobs as many as possible, and read them out.
2.Chain-drills . Let the students ask and answer using the pattern “What do\does sb do? He\she is a\an…”
活动3【导入】Presentation
1.Show the pictures of the members of my family , and say : My husband is a scientist. He works in an institute. My son is a student. He studies in Sichuan University. Then ask: What do I do? Where do I work? Help them to answer: I am a teacher . I work in a school.
2.Talk about Michael’s family in the same way.
3、Learn the new words: work, hospital, restaurant, on, farm, teach, act;
活动4【活动】Consolidation
1.Watch the movie in 1a and fill the table, learn the new word :show;
2.Listen to the conversation again and follow it by imitating the pronunciation and intonation;
3.Let students read 1a .
4.Work in pairs: making new dialogs using the given picture and words.
5.Check the answers in groups.

1.Word Building:
Play a game : Act and guess
