1.Show the Ss "Learning aims" ---To make the Ss know what they'll learn.
2. Show the Ss an emotional test---

Show the Ss some black-and-white pictures and ask them to paint the picture. ---1)To teach some new words and expressions.

1. Predicting(预测)--read the title or headings ,guess the main idea.
Task--Read the title of the article and the headings of each part quickly, predict:
1).What is the article about?2).How many kinds of colours are talked about ?What are they? 2.Skimming(略读)—read quickly to get the key information. Task--Read each part quickly, find out :
1).How many colours are mentioned(提及) in all?2) What are they?
3.Scanning(扫读)--move eyes quickly to look for specific (特定的)information. Guessing(猜读)—guess the meaning by its formation(形式,结构)or from the context(上下文).
