本节课为仁爱英语八年级下学期Unit 6 Topic 2 Section B第2课时，本课通过Kangkang给他的新朋友Darren介绍天安门广场的基本情况，包括其面积、主要的建筑物等内容来学习表达方位的名词以及与介词in, on和to的搭配用法。本课的内容贴近学生的实际，能够引起学生的兴趣，激发学生的学习热情。学习内容贴近生活，生动有趣，大大提高了学生的学习兴趣，也为学生学习新的语言提供了很好的语境。
学情 分析 学生经过一年多的听说的训练已经初步掌握听力策略.但是学生还不能准确完全理解听力材料的内容，所以在听前有情境的设计，提前帮助学生解决问题。

1.学生能够能够听懂有关地点方位的对话
2.学生在有关地点方位的听力材料中获取信息，完成相关任务。 3.学生能够根据图文应用介词in，on和to正确地介绍某物所处的位置。。 3．通过小组合作学习，激发学生的学习热情。

The teacher shows some pictures of our great matherland.
T:If I have a chance ,I want to go on a trip to our capital, Beijing, especially Tian’anmen Square.

通过看相关图片学习
1.Look at some pictures of great buildings on Tian’anmen Square.At the same time ,learn new words and phrases.
2. Look at a map of China and learn the words expressing the direction.
Then look at a map of Tian’anmen Square and match the names with the buildings on the map in 3a.
3.Give three example sentences about how to
describe the direction with “in” “on” and “to” and
then make students make more sentences to practice. 4.According to a map of Tian’anmen Square to finish 3b. Then read the sentences aloud and understand them. 5.Listen to the tape and then number the pictures in 2-A. 6.Listen again and write down the time when people built these buildings. 7.We knew Darren would come to China for his vacation. Now he and kangkang are talking about Tian’anmen Square. Now listen to it and answer the three questions. 8.Read 1a carefully and then fill in the blanks according to 1a.

生的自信心，通过交流渗透情感教育，使学生热爱自己的祖国热爱祖国的大好河山。本节课的知识点也在无形中融入到会话练习中，同时融入竞争意识，调动学生学习积极性。 Step 5 Summary
