教学目标
1.掌握下列单词:sweet,memory,scarf,check 
2.理解并掌握下列句子:
How long have you had that bike over there?
I’ve had it for three years! 
Because I have had it since I was a baby. 
3.掌握语法:现在完成时与for,since连用。
4.了解瞬间动词转变成延续性动词,并与时间段搭配。
2学情分析
我所教授的班级为八年级的学生,本年级的学生天性活泼,他们感兴趣的话题也多,只要是他们感兴趣的,贴近他们生活的话题他们都会有很多想法想要和别人分享。同时八年级也是两级分化严重的年级,学生在英语 学习上的状态也分化严重,一部分学生上课回答问题积极,认真做对话,认真做笔记,而另一些学生却兴致不高,课堂参与度也不高,需要老师为他们创造获得成就感的机会。
3重点难点
教学重点:掌握本部分出现的生词和词组,达到熟练运用的目标;掌握语法:现在完成时与for,since连用。 
教学难点: 1.进行听力训练,提高综合听说能力。 2.训练学生的语言交际能力。

4.1.1教学目标
1.掌握下列单词:sweet,memory,scarf,check 
2.理解并掌握下列句子: 
How long have you had that bike over there?
I’ve had it for three years!
Because I have had it since I was a baby.
3.掌握语法:现在完成时与for,since连用。
4.了解瞬间动词转变成延续性动词,并与时间段搭配。

教学过程 Step 1 
Warming up(2分) 
1.Greetings. 
2.Check the homework.
Step 2 New words(5-7分)
1.Read the new words together.(加强读音训练) 
2.Ask some individuals to read the new words.(发现读音问题,正音) (课前朗读可使学生快速进入学习状态,养成良好的学习习惯。)
Step 3 Leading in (3分)
Look at the picture and discuss:What can you see in the picture? 
T:Do you have any of these things at home? 
S1:Yes.A bike.
T:How long have you had it?
S1:Two years.(I have had it for two years.) (大脑风暴,打开学生思维,感知和应用目标语言。)
Students work in pairs like this: 
A:How long have you had that bike over there?
B:I’ve had it for three years! I learned how to ride a bike on it. 
Step 4 Discuss and answer the question:(2分)
Over the years,there are many old things in our homes that we don’t use them any more,but how can we do with them? (一分钟之后,汇总想法,引出今天听力部分要提到的方法) 
S1:just keep them.(if they have special meaning to you )
S2:give them away S3:sell them at a yard sell …
T:Great! You have had so many ways to deal with old things,now let’s listen how Amy’s family do with their old things? 
Step 6 Listening(2a-2b)(10-12分) 
1.Before listening Amy’s family also have some old things,they want to give away some things,but Amy wants to still keep some old things.Let’s listen the conversation.
2.While listening (让学生注意细节抓取关键词)
Listen and check (√)the things Amy’s family are giving away and circle the things they are keeping.
(2a) Keys:giving away:magazine,toy lion,toy tiger,bread maker,dress;sweater Keeping:book,toy bear,hat,scarf Listen again and fill in the blanks.
(2b) (1)Amy has had her favorite for three years.
  (2)Amy has had the toy since she was a . 
(3)Amy’s mom has had the old bread maker for more than years. 
(4)Amy can give away the and because they do not fit her anymore.

(1)Why does Amy want to keep the toy bear? 
(2)Why does Amy’s mom want to let the old bread maker go? 
Answers: (1)Because the toy bear has special meaning to Amy ,it’s a gift from her grandma.
                (2)Because aunt Taylor bought a new one to her.(增加两个细节问题,让学生理解对话内容,并应用自己的语言解决问题) 
3.Post listening Read the conversation aloud after the tape.(多层操练,对教材实行一材多用,多角度感知目标语言,为2c的语言输出作铺垫)
Step 7 Pair work(2c)(2分)
Read the sample conversation and role-play a conversation between Amy’s mom and Amy. Present their conversations.(输出目标语言,对目标语言进行综合训练,体现语言的交际功用)
Step 8 Reading (2d)(2分)
Read the conversation and answer the following questions: 
1.How many kinds of things does Amy give to the Sunshine Home for Children?
2.How long has Amy had the magazine? 
3.How long has Amy had the soft toys and board games?

1.辨析:how long与how soon (1)How long 多久,多长(时间)。
用for/since+时间段回答。 例如:—How long have you worked in Beijing? —For five years. 
——你在北京工作多久了? ——五年了。
(2)How soon 多久以后。用in+时间段回答。 例如:—How soon will Mr.Li be back? —In a week.
——李先生多久后回来? ——一周之后。 
2.辨析:for 与since 
(1)for其后只能接表示“一段时间”的名词性短语,可用于多种时态,表示动作或状态持续时间长短。
例如: I have lived in this city for five years.我在这座城市居住了5年了。
(2)since 其后接表示“时间点”的短语或从句(过去时),也可以接“一段时间+ago”,常用于完成时态;还用于句型:“It is +时间段+since+一般过去时的句子”。表示过去某个时间发生并持续到说话时的动作或状态。 
例如:It is two years since I came to China. 自从我到中国以来已经两年了。 (精讲知识点,辅以造句进行充足练习,使学生掌握并能灵活运用。) 
Step 9 Summary(1分)
Have the students give a summary and read them aloud together. (总结本节课的学习内容,让学生对本节课的学习内容有一个清晰的概念,也便于学生课下复习。)
