I. Pre-reading Presentation

2.Watch a viedo and answer the teacher’s question 
What other forms of life in the video. 3. Pre-Reading 1) Imagine the unknown world what? 
2) They are going to read a diary about a trip to unknown 
 
 
Talk with partners about the Qs. Try to talk about the unknown world as much as possible. 
      
To lead in the topic of the whole reading            
 
                           
                  
                           
                                     world. Look at the heading and guess its content.

Let Ss be more familiar with the article and train their skinning skill. 
II. While-reading Procedure       
1.Fast reading: Ss look at the picture as fast as they can and

To let Ss be more familiar with the whole structure of the article and it’s 
good for Ss to recite it in class.

Unit 7 The unknown world
ALIENS ARRIVE
Tina (醒来)           at midnight. She looked (填词)            of her window and saw a yellow light in the sky. It suddenly (俯冲向地面)           . She________(hear) a noise and ________(see)a red light.
(第二天早上)           , Tina mentioned it______ her brother Tom. “(我确定)   
           something landed in the forest near the hills ________I heard a loud noise last night.” she said. “Let’s explore (放学后)           .”

“There was something written on the spaceship,” said Tom. “It looked like this. I wonder what it means.” He drew some lines on a piece of paper.
