一、教材分析
本部分主要学习①Less is more. ②All’s well that ends well. ③All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. ④Life is what you make it.这四句英语谚语。要求学生能听、说、读、写所学谚语，并在整合学习谚语的过程中，复习巩固字母及其组合的发音，处理基本断句，并明白生活哲理。
二、教学背景分析
学生分析
六年级毕业班学生具备一定单词发音及句子读写基础，但尚未正式接触过英语谚语。已从具体形象思维向抽象逻辑思维过渡，但仍与感性经验相联系，因此本节课谚语教学带有很大成分的具体形象性。教学过程中注重加强启发式教学，发展学生比较、分析、综合思维的能力。
三、教学目标与策略分析
教学目标
1、知识目标：
能正确听、说、读、写四句谚语。 2、能力目标：
能在情境中理解、运用四句谚语。 3、情感目标：
（1） 帮助学生通过感知、体验理解谚语引申意； （2） 巧妙创编文本材料，有效进行情感升华。
教学策略
创设超级玛丽情境，让学生和主人公Mario交朋友，并帮助他走出困境。
对谚语教学采取“听着有趣、说着上嘴、读着上口、写着有形”的教学方法。本课利用《超级玛丽》经典游戏素材，编成故事，主人公Mario从一个只工作
不玩耍的dull boy，经过同学们一路闯关游戏的帮助变成一个工作生活两不误
的interesting boy。这一路将四句英语谚语巧妙地插入故事情节中，让学生跟随故事的进展将谚语掌握。并结合学生年龄特点，运用total physical response 策略组织相关活动。
四、教学重、难点分析

1. 教学重点：学生能够掌握四句谚语的听说读写。 2. 教学难点：
（1）能理解四句谚语的意思。
（2）学生能拓展完成周末学习与生活的合理安排表。
五、教学过程设计
教学过程 1. Warm-up （1）Fun for singing:
T: First of all, let’s sing a song. OK? Ss: OK! …
（2）Greetings:
T:If you are happy and you know it SIT UP, please.If you are happy and you know it say Hello Diana! If you are happy and you know, then your face will surely show, if you are happy and you know it say I LOVE ENGLISH! Ss: I LOVE ENGLISH!

2. Lead-in
（1）Proverb（导入课题）
T: At the beginning of the lesson, I have a sentence to
share
with you. It’s said by William
Shakespeare. ”April hath put a spirit of youth in everything.” Do you think it’s beautiful? Ss: Yes.
T: I think so,too. Actually, such kind of sentence has a name, it’s called proverb. And today, we will learn about Proverbs.
（2）Fun for meeting（判断游戏，引出主人公Mario）
T:Today we have a new friend. He’s name is Mario. Ss:Hello, Mario!
T:Let’s play watch and judge to know more about Mario.

（设计意图：引入超级玛丽拼命工作不玩耍的话题，引入谚语1，并为故事的开始创设条件，激起学生的好奇心与兴趣。）

T: Poor Mario! He’s in trouble. Mario is our friend. Let’s help him together, OK? Ss: OK！

T:To find your favourite toy, which one is easier? Circle the answer and say why.

（设计意图：承上启下，同学们帮助Mario学会停下来思考，让他明白做事抓重点，为故事后续发展做铺垫，同时也通过故事直观呈现，再次解决理解Less is more谚语意这一难点。）

Life is what you make it. （1）Task2:Make it happen (任务：彩虹糖变彩虹）
T:After stop and think,we need to help Mario take actions to make things happen.
Q:Do you think it’s possible to make candies into a rainbow? Ss:Yes./No.
T:Let’s watch a short video. （播放彩虹糖变彩虹实验视频）
T：Now I need a volunteer to make candies into a rainbow. (邀请学生上台展示彩虹糖实验。） T：Now it’s your turn to make your own rainbow.Try to use the sentence patten,”Firstly,...And then,... Finally,... to describe it.
(学生分组进行彩虹糖实验,并用连接词描述。） （设计意图：现场进行彩虹糖变彩虹实验，通过小组合作的形式，以直观、有趣、手眼参与的方式，让学生明白只要敢想敢做，万事皆有可能的道理。从而引出谚语3Life is what you make it.） （2）Let’s read Proverb3

T：After this task, we help Mario know to believe in himself and make things happen.
（设计意图：承上启下，同学们帮助Mario实现糖变彩虹，让他明白敢想敢做，勇攀高峰的道理，为故事后续Mario从dull man变成interesting man这一转变做铺垫。）

All’s well that ends well. （1）Let’s see
T：We help Mario learn to stop and think, and take actions to make things happen. Does he really take our advice?
（课件呈现现在的Mario工作时的状态）
T：He puts efforts on the most important goals. He stops and thinks. He believes in himself and makes things happen.
Ss:Does he still do all work and have no play? T:Let’s see.
T:Wow,he learns to play basketball, tennis, snowboard,Kart and baseball. He also has made a lot of new friends! He’s not a dull boy anymore. It’s so great!We say it ends well.

4. Practice.
（1）Task3:Listen,read and write.
①Listen to the tape and try to imitate the pronunciation and intonation.②Read the proverbs in order. ③Write down the proverbs on the textbook.
（设计意图：学生跟录音读谚语，并模仿语音语调。学生按故事发展的顺序，带动作读谚语，为歌谣部分做准备；学生分小组规范书写四句谚语。） （2）Let’s chant

（设计意图：通过让同学们动手写一写、画一画自己的周末安排表，并邀请两位学生上台分享自己的安排，引导他们将合理平衡学习及生活的道理运用到现实生活中。）

6. Emotional-learning
T:This is the last semester of your primary school. During the six years, we learn knowledge, do sports, join activities and have met a lot of friends. Hope everybody in the future can make a good balance, work hard and play hard.
T:Here comes the wish from Mario:
Wish you to be a happy person and have a bright future!
（设计意图：本节课旨在引导毕业班学生合理平衡学习及生活，实现习总书记对少年儿童勤奋学习，快乐生活，健康成长的殷切期望。）
7.Homework
（1）Finish your timetable.
（2）Collect more proverbs and share with your friends.
（设计意图：通过让学生继续完成日常安排表，引导学生养成规划学习生活的习惯；此外搜集
其他英语谚语，进行与同伴的学习拓展，让学生明白英语学习无处不在。）
六、课后反思
在教学过程中，创设了拼命工作透支身体的超级玛丽，在同学们一路帮助下学会思考、勇于尝试，最终变成懂得平衡工作与生活的快乐人的情境，将四句英语谚语巧妙穿插其中，利用多媒体资源、案例对比、游戏实验等多种教学手段来突破重难点。将谚语巧妙编成Chant和歌曲让学生说唱，取得了不错的效果。
不足之处是对课堂时间的把握不是很好，导致前松后紧，后面的活动时间变短，需要学会合理安排课堂时间，整体把握课堂。
