Activity1 leading-in T’s activity: T sings a song of Peking Opera and mentions the famous ”to be or not to be”.Then T asks Ss to look at the pictures of the western opera and Peking Opera and talk about their differences and similarities from four points:*orchestra*stage set*movements*costumes and masks and add some relevant information. Ss’ activity:Ss guess the topic of this class.Then Ss look at the pictures and talk about their differences and similarities freely. 设计意图:教师通过唱京剧和说莎士比亚的戏剧经典台词,创设情境,激活背景知识,引发学生对此类话题的兴趣和思考,引出主题。然后通过对比中西方歌剧在乐器、舞台设计、动作和服装四个方面的相同和不同之处,并适当补充背景信息,帮助学生更好地理解文本内容。 核心素养提升点: 语言能力:通过听、看和说来理解和表达自己对所给话题的观点。 Activity 2: Fast reading T’s activity:T asks Ss to read the passage quickly and find out the Peking Opera version of Hamlet and what aspects of Peking Opera most impressed the author. Ss’ activity:Ss read the passage quickly and solve the two questions. 活动类型:学习理解类活动 设计意图:学生通过读和看,提取故事的基本信息内容并了解京剧版的哈姆雷特即王子复仇记,初步了解标题含义,并训练学生获取具体信息的能力。 核心素养提升点: 语言能力:通过阅读回答问题获取、梳理信息。 学习能力:自主学习 Activity 3Detailed Reading 1.T’s activity:T asks Ss to choose the author’s purpose in writing the passage and find out the writing order.
Before the performance: (meet遇见) T’s activity:T asks one student to share his answer and lead to the first theme---“meet”based on the history of Peking Opera.Then T asks Ss to think deeply Hearing that Chinese Peking Opera was stepping onto the western stage, what was your feeling?” Ss’ activity:Ss share their answers and express their opinions freely. T’s activity:T leads to the useful expression:Dating back to the 18th century, Peking Opera has over two hundred years of history. During the performance:(integrate融合) During the performance, T invites Ss to share their answers and think carefully: . For foreigners who don't know Chinese,how could they understand the performance? . How did the author evaluate Peking Opera? Ss’ activity:Ss share their answers and express their opinions freely. T’s activity:T leads to the useful expressions:the music,exaggerated moments.get .across.. Using such techniques, the opera had transformed a small stage into the whole universe. Then T plays the video of the performance .At last , T guides Ss to think about the meaning of the title and the charm of Peking Opera and Chinese culture. After the performance:(explode绽放) After the performance, T invites Ss to share their answers and think carefully: How did the author expressed his excitement and love for the opera? Which word did the author use to describe the effect of the performance? Why did the author say “The Revenge of Prince ZiDan”ticks all the right boxes? Ss’ activity:Ss share their answers and express their opinions freely.
