Step 1 Warm up
1. Greetings & Tell the rules(Tom & Kitty)
T: Boys and girls. Look, he’s a lovely cat. Do you know him? Ss: Tom. T(act Tom): Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello, Tom. T: And this cute girl is … Ss: Kitty.
T: Kitty is for all the girls in our class. If the girls do well in class, Kitty can get stars.
Tom is for all the boys. If boys do well, Tom can get stars too. Let’s see who can get more stars. So fight for them, OK? 2. Guessing game
T: Boys and girls, I bring a clothes bag today. There are some clothes in it. Guess what they are. (PPT出示猜测参考的服装图) S1: a dress (S1 read as a picture)
S2: a shirt / gloves/ shorts/ jeans/ sweater/ … (教学谈到的服饰)
T: Wow, you know so many clothes. Thant’s wonderful. Do I have so many clothes in the bag? Let’s see.
Ss: a dress, a T-shirt, trousers.
(适当追问:Can we say ‘a trousers’? No, there are two trouser legs. So we say ‘they are trousers’.)
3. Dress up Tom and Kitty
T: Look at the T-shirt. What colour is it? S1: It’s green.
T: Is this your T-shirt? S1: No, it isn’t.
(T追问2-3人后):Whose T-shirt is it? S2: It’s Tom’s.
T: Really? Let’s see. (为Tom试穿) It’s just right. Whose T-shirt is this? Ss: It’s Tom’s. (课件呈现关键句,学生朗读问答) T: How about the dress? Whose dress is this? Ss: It’s Kitty’s.
T: Let’s see. Wow. Look at Kitty. Is she nice?
Ss: Yes. (T追问:Whose dress is this? Ss: It’s Kitty’s. )
T: Great. The dress is Kitty’s. How about the trousers? Whose trousers are these? S1: They are Tom’s.
T: Let’s see. Look. Whose trousers are these? Ss: They are Tom’s.
T: Great. Trousers, trousers. Whose trousers are these? Tom’s, Tom’s. They’re Tom’s. A dress, a dress. Whose dress is this? Kitty’s, Kitty’s. It’s Kitty’s. Ss follow the teacher.
4. Ss say the chant in pairs. ----- Ss say the chant together.
T: Tom and Kitty have nice clothes now. let’s dress up them with some accessories. (给Tom和Kitty装扮好配饰) Now they are ready for a fancy dress party. Step 2 Presentation
1. 课件呈现化装舞会图片
T: At a fancy dress party, they wear fancy clothes. (带读fancy dress party) Some children are also at the party too. Look who they are. Ss: Helen, Mike, Su Hai and Su Yang.
T: Watch the cartoon and answer the question: What clothes do they talk about? 2. 学生看卡通,回答问题
S1S2S3: They talk about gloves(带读), trousers, dress. (板贴含服饰的人物图片) T: Do they talk about the trousers and dress at the party.(出示词条At the party) Ss: No.
T: They talk about the trousers and the dress before the party.(呈现词条before the party) Look at the twins. Are they happy? What do they say? Let's listen.
Ss repeat what they heard from the tape and then read as athe teacher. 3.同法教学图2对话。(小组开火车手拿服装图片,读Try this. Try these.) 4. 两人小组内表演图1-2,并示范2组
5. Look, now they are dressed up.Look at Su Yang. She looks like a rabbit. and Su Hai looks like little red riding hood.
Good, now they're ready for the party.
呈现图片,引导学生欢快读出Now we're ready for the party.板书go to the party 6.(图4)T: at the party, they meet Helen and Mike. Look at Helen. Ss: She's nice. She looks like an angel. T: Is Mike cool? Ss: Yes. T: He's wearing a black cloak. He looks like a knight.
Now he's talking with Helen. What do they say? Think and discuss in pairs. Ss show the dialogue in class.
7.(图5-6)The gloves are so big.Whose gloves are they? Read the two pictures in groups. You may help each other. Ss show 2-3 groups.
T: Now do you know the answer? Whose gloves are they, boys and girls? Ss: They're Su Yang's father's. T: And Whose dress is this? Ss: It's Helen's cousin's. Step 3 Consolidation
1. Ss read the story together after the tape.(追问标题) 2. Ss choose a task to act. (分层表演,点评) 3. Our show time
Dress up one student in groups. And other students try to talk about his/her clothes
by using the key sentences on the blackboard. Group show.(2-3 groups)
T 追问: Whose …are they? Whose … is this?以检查学生听的质量和用目标语组织答
句的能力
4. Homework
