Paras10-12 exploration of the island 2. How Crusoe lived on the island

3. An earthquake and a storm
(1). When the earthquake happened, what did he see and how did he feel? (2). During and after the storm, what happened to him? 4. Sickness
(1). Please write the correct number before each sentence to keep them in a correct order. ___ I ate some turtle eggs and drank some rum. ___ I had bad dreams.
___ I walked slowly down to the beach. ___ I had headaches although it was warm.
___ I cried when I thought about my father and his advice. (2). Analyze how he felt when he was sick
(3). Act as Robinson Crusoe and act out in the front. 5. Exploration of the island

1. Choose any of the tasks to enjoy and share! They can discuss with their partners. Why does it impress you? Why does it touch you?
(1). After the storm, I divided the gunpower into small piles and put them in different places. (2). It was a terrible, lonely life, but at least I was alive. I thought I was rich. I had two houses: one by the sea and one in the country.
(3). The only problem was that I would not be able to see a ship from there. I decided to stay where I was before.
2. Discuss how to be alive on an island.
In some ways, Crusoe is lucky. At least he has guns and many other tools. If you are trapped
on an island without any tools, how will you live? Step6 Homework
1. Try to retell this chapter and be a good storyteller.
2. Find more words that impress you and give your comments.
