七上Unit 8 Collecting things — Listening and Speaking 教学反思

在学校第19届教育花会中,我担任了一节公开课。公开课的课题是:7A Unit 8 Collecting things的听、说部分,教研主题是英语听说能力的培养和提高。Unit 8的话题是Collecting things,属于个人爱好范畴,是学生喜爱的话题,而且,初一学生要提高英语的综合运用能力,还应从听、说开始。
这节课的教学目标包括以下三个方面:1、语言知识:认读和理解一些单词和短语(shell, magazine, sentence, be bad for, be interested in);2、语言技能:①教学生听前预测,注意正确理解别人说话时"but"后的内容,听后检查书写的正确;②尝试表达自己对收藏爱好的观点;③学会通过设计和问一些与主题相关的问题,了解他人的收藏爱好;3、情感态度:礼貌地询问和表达爱好及观点。
上完这节课后,我觉得我的整个教学设计符合课程标准和学生的实际,可操作性强,各环节、步骤条理清晰,环环相扣、由浅入深,运用了多种教学手段,能较好达到预期的教学目标,多数学生能完成学习任务,体验到学习的愉悦,有进一步学习的愿望;学生参与学习活动的人数较多,参与学习活动的方式多样,参与学习活动的时间充分;老师对学生的课堂表现能适时进行积极、有效的评价。
以后我应当努力多关注学困生,真正让每一位学生都能从课堂的40分钟得到收获,进一步探讨使课堂气氛更活跃的方法,让学生能达到真正使用英语进行交际的目的。

初一学生活泼好动,对世界充满了好奇。大多数学生在小学已开始学英语。由于我们班是普通的平行班,学生的水平比较参差。
3重点难点
教学重难点:理解 “but”一词之后通常表达的是与之前不同的观点;培养学生听前预测的习惯;根据所需信息设计合理的问题.

4.1.1教学活动
活动1【导入】问候及告知学生本课时的学习目标
1) Say “Good morning” to the students and welcome the visitors to the class.
2) Tell the Ss the tasks and the aims of this lesson.
3) Show the topic to the class.
活动2【导入】游戏热身,激发兴趣
Ask students to do “Memory Challenge”.
There are fourteen pictures in all. Each picture shows one kind of collections. After watching all of them, the students should tell what the collections are.
活动3【讲授】任务1:听力1
Listening A:
1) Teach some new words in the Listening material.
2) Ask the students to guess what to listen for according to the sentences in the boxes.
3) Play the record of Listening A, ask the students to get “Who says the sentence?”
4) Ask students to check the answers.
5)Tell the students “Top tip” of the listening, give them some examples.
6) Ask the students to listen to Listening A once again then find out the sentences with “but” and make them understand the real meanings of the sentences.
活动4【讲授】任务1:听力2
Listening B:
1)Show the topic and the notes to the students.
2) Ask the students to guess what is missed and in what form the word should be.
3) Play the record of Listening B for the students.
4) Ask the students to check their answers.
5)Ask the students to do a survey. Give them some advice on writing the words correctly.

1) Ask the students to do Speaking practice according to the example.
2) Ask some students to act out their dialogues.
3) Ask some students to use some sentence patterns to report in class.
活动6【活动】归纳小结并自我评价
1) Have Ss sum up what they have learned in this period.
2)Ask the students to have a self-assessment.

Homework for today:
1) Family dictation for the new words and phrases in Unit 8;
2) Listen to the recording of Unit 8 and read the articles in Unit 8.
3) Write an article about your collections.
