教学重点和难点: 重点: 1. Daming is having a birthday party. 2. Daming is playing the suona, but the
phone rings.
难点:运用功能句谈论正在做一件事情时另一件事情突然发生。
教学手段: PPT, pictures
教学步骤:Step1. Warm up:1.Greetings.
2.Chant and clap your hands.
3.A guessing game. Step2.Pre-reading
1. Listen and follow the part1,then answer the questions:
① What are the frogs doing? ② Are they happy?
2.Look at another picture. Ask questions: ①What is Daming doing? ②Is he happy too?
2. 引出课文:Daming is playing the suona, but the phone rings.

Step3.While-reading
1. Read the story by themselves quickly in one minute. Answer a question:What is Daming doing?
He is having a birthday party. He is playing the suona.
2.Read the story in two minute,then finish the table.
3. Give students 3 mintues to read the story carefully again in pairs and fill in the blank. 4.Listen and imitate. 5.Retell the story.

1. Put the right pictures and make sentences using “but”. 2. Four in group to practise them.
